One of Seychelles' two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, this ancient forest is home to the wondrous Coco de Mer palm, which has the largest seed in the world, and many other birds, plants and reptiles, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. Visiting the Vallee de Mai is a step back in time and a unique experience.

We spent about an hour and a half walking in the reserve and it was very easy going. The only relatively steep part was if you want to go up to the viewpoint and even then, this was about a 15 minute walk. You can...More

Enjoyed the day here doing the walks and spotting all the little creatures. Staff wasn't particularly helpful or friendly.
