By far the best beach on the island. A bit tricky to find, but has a shady parking and a nice walk through the forest until its gorgeous view opens up in front of your eyes. Come early in the morning to avoid the heat and for best light to capture the colors. Not for swimming, at least not for... More

One of the best beaches in Mahe. It’s big with white send and beautiful color of the sea. It’s rough for swimming but it’s the best for nice walk and relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunset.

I can see why so many people like this beach; it is big, picturesque and remote. However, I didn't get that distinctive Seychelles feel about it. On the day we were there, there were quite big waves. My sons enjoyed it because they could body surf but probably not ideal for those wanting to snorkel or wallow in the shallows.... More

We went to Mahe after Praslin and having seen Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette; we were not sure if this would be as good. However, it was as good as the other two. White soft sand, beautiful colors of the sea and perfect surroundings. We had rented a car and drove till the beach parking. The google maps location is... More

THE BEST. Everything you think the Seychelles is. But NB: as all beaches its public so beds and umbrellas are not available unless you affiliate with an adjacent resort.

It is a nice beach, but we couldn't really swim here, the waves were huge. Anyways, the nature around is magnificent.

A great beach - away from main tourist sites of the island - good for swimming, body surf - no snorkeling and need to be a good swimmer as waves are fierce!

We went to Anse Intendance around 3pm so we can relax a bit and hope to get a nice view at sunset but unfortunately around 5pm it got cloudy and we couldn't see the sunset appreciated by a lot of tourists. The beach is long and clean with not so many shade places. The snorkeling is ok, not bad, but... More

This beach is very beautiful and perfect to spend the day on. Pack snacks and drinks as there is no shop, not even in walking distance. Be sure to take enough sunblock as shade is limited. The ocean here is for good, strong swimmers and not for beginners or small children unless they are accompanied by adults. There is no... More
