Small but beautiful and important synagogue
Nov 2019
Beautifully preserved synagogue. Small for such an important religious site. While not very ornate compared to some European churches, it is obviously beloved and revered in the Jewish faith. Site is not easy to find but that's typical of Tzafat (Safed). Parking can be very difficult to find in the town, and you certainly cannot park anywhere near this synagogue.

Beautiful synagogue - must visit
Jun 2020 • Couples
We were told that this beautiful synagogue has a twin in Toledo, Spain. It is a beautiful synagogue in the Old City of Safed. All the elements have a explanation in the Kaballah. So take a walk through the tiny streets and find this beautiful synagogue

Stunning Kabbalistically designed Synagogue
Jun 2019
Everything in this synagogue is meaningful in Kabbalah, from the number of arks for the Torahs to the number of windows around the synagogue. There is a sheet that explains the numerology and significance of each feature. In my opinion, the prettiest synagogue in Tzfat.

Real gem in Safed
Dec 2019 • Solo
Beatiful interior in a insconpicuous building matching to blue hilly neighbourhood. Blue color that is directing our thoughts towards Lord. Very nice staff, welcoming everyone inside. Before visit I recommend to read a bit about symbolism and meaning of place

Beautiful Artwork

The artwork along the walls are exquisite. The prayer services are very nice for the Orthodox Jews that pray there.

A Synagogue for the Spiritual Minded Person
Oct 2019
This synagogue is a must visit for any person seeking a spiritual environment for their prayers. The atmosphere is respectful and the prayers conducted with the emphasis on maximizing spirituality amidst like minded indiviudals. We attended the first prayer services at dawn and found the synagogue to be the perfect place for soulful connection and the synagogue itself a beautiful reminder of all the magnificent synagogues which represent the magnetic attraction to Safad as one of the holiest cities in Israel

My favorite synagogue in Tzfat!
Jun 2019 • Solo
Everytime I come to Tzfat, I visit this synagogue. It is one of the most beautiful synagogues I've ever been in, but the thing that fascinates me is the symbolism with which the synagogue is designed. There is a key to the numeric significance of the various aspects of the synagogue, and there is someone there who can answer questions and explain the different historical and kabbalistic meanings of the place. Really a must-see!

Best to come here for Kabbalat Shabbat (Friday evening service). Amazing vibe and great way to start Shabbat.
