The mountain itself is OK, you get a reasonable view over Nazareth, but there are lots of rubbish there and if you walk there from central Nazareth it is not easy to get to...it is not signposted and you are walking through districts that are also strewn with litter. We wish we hadn't gone, it was not worth the effort.

Great place to sit and ponder the astounding views over Israel! The views of the Jezreel Valley and the very busy Nazareth below make the overlook on Mt. Precipice a quiet and much-appreciated place to sit alone and meditate.

This place has near 360 degrees view overlooking some very important sites. Loved being up here, not too hard to climb but one must bring a camera and lots of water.
Having a knowledgeable guide would be beneficial to point out all the significant places.
We came here this month on a tour and loved it.

It is almost all there for you - the city of Nazareth from behind and the Valley of Armageddon ahead. Mount Carmel to the right and Tabor on the left. It is an inspiring, breath-taking, awesome sight. The only thing missing is Jerusalem.

The nature authorities set the place properly, clean and accessible. The view is great and when weather planning to be rainy you see the land from the skyline

The overview of Nazareth with the Church of Annunciation, the Jezreel Valley, Mt Tabor and extended areas is well worth the short time (30 minutes max) necessary to view the area with an explanation.

We visited here as part of a seven day Holy Land tour to discuss its meaning in the scriptures which was meaningful but the views of the countryside from here are just wonderful. It was quite windy and it is a walk from the parking area but the path is paved and although up hill, not that difficult to navigate. Worth a quick stop if just to see the views!

Fantastic views of the surrounding valley and town. This is known as the Leaping Mountain... where Jesus was going to be thrown off the top of the a Mountain but instead vanished into the crowd. Paced walking path to the top. Nice place to just sit and reflect.

Hi
is there any indication to follow to get to Mt. of Precipice Lookout Pointt? Anything I can enter in my GPS? I will be coming from Afula.
Thanks. Yves

Yes - that is the reason for a U-turn.
These are the coordinates of a geocache that is hidden on Mt. Percipice. (We didn't find it so it may be missing) but if you can plug in coordinates into your GPS, this will at least get you to the area. Enjoy.
