This is where the people of the village of Nazareth used to get water from, including virgin Mary.. there is currently no running water but the well has a lot of history built around it and is the symbol of Nazareth

This small arched covering supposedly marks the spot where there was a well that Mary and also Jesus would have come to get water. It is on the main road going down to the Church of the Annunciation

It's a small structure containing a well. It takes only one minute to walk the entire peripheral area of the structure. There are no explanation, and looks very run down. There is really not much to see at all.

This side is easy to overlook because it comes across as a hanging spot for youngsters. Dirt on the ground and grafiti on the well

The gate was drawn across the entrance to the well, and the buildings were reconstructed, but you could feel Mary and Jesus coming to the well. Truly set you back in time.

It is a very small building which contains the well. There is nothing special about it, You just go around it in five minutes, and that it. But it is in the center city and the area is full of restaurants and shops.

If you pass this area you will not recognize this is an attraction. When we come close to the marry well, the smell of ammoniac is terrible

Mary’s well is located at the downtown square and there are many wonderful restaurants and shops around it. But there is no water at the well and it’s not kept up. Nothing much to look at and not maintained as one might expect.

I hope I don't hurt anybody feelings but this is tiny (but holy) little building. There is not much to do there except just walking around which takes you two minutes tops. Still, for Christians it is holy place and while being in Nazareth I...More

No unfortunately. May I add it’s a steep walk up hill from church and really nothing to see as now surrounded by shops and cafes....nice to visit but on reflection not really worth it . Sorry. Also if I had time again I... More
