About Hantourism
Hantour is Arabic for ‘horse-drawn carriage’. Hantours are still popular among local farmers in Jericho for transporting crops and agricultural products from their farms to the central vegetable and fruit market. Hantourism started using local farmers’ horse-drawn farm carriages as means of transportation for Jericho city tours. Today, Hantourism offers many community-based tours in all major destinations around Palestine

I booked a tour of the Ramallah and Jericho area with Hantourism for my parents in law who were visiting Palestine. They absolutely loved it! Their guide Ahmad Jabari was an incredible source of knowledge on the area. He was also so, so generous with his time. He brought them to many places that weren’t included on the original itinerary, obviously picking up on my in-laws’ interests and tailoring the tour to their needs. I would 100% recommend Hantourism to anyone visiting Palestine. They are fantastic, and really the best option for doing an ethical visit to Palestine.

I used Hantourism for multiple aspects of my trip to Palestine starting from Jerusalem. From renting a comfortable car valid for driving through Palestine, they also organised a guided hike through the beautiful Wadi Qelt starting from Jericho with a friendly and informative local man called Tariq. We also did a cooking class in Jericho where we learnt to make some delicious Palestinian dishes, which i will definitely attempt to replicate back home. Lastly, Hantourism organised a guided tour to Hebron with a local guide called Ayman, who was able to both explain the history of the city and show us the current situation and conditions Palestinians are forced to live under. All in all, booking through Hantourism made my whole trip so much more stress-free and informative. We received clear communication constantly and always felt supported. Can 100% recommend booking through them and can’t thank them enough

I have used Hantourism for both car rental and guided tours, and they deliver a great service in all aspects. I generally tend to plan things last minute, which can become a bit problematic when booking things. However, Hantourism always figures something out for me even last minute, which has been a great help when traveling in Palestine. The communication with them is very good, fast and clear and they always make sure to follow up to make sure everything is good. Great costumer service! In all cases I have been connected with great people. The car rental service is very easy and flexible. The cars are really good, the price is better than anything else offered in Jerusalem and it is Palestinian-based. The guides used by Hantourism for the different tours are both passionate, friendly and professional, and they give an insightful view in both the historical aspects of the cities, the current political situation and the palestinian life. Hantourism has made my stay in Palestine easier and provided me with great information about the country. Thank you for that!

The tour in Hebron guided by Ayman is a tour you cannot skip - so informative and eye opening. He and his group are the only ones who can get through the checkpoints as palestinians which was a big advantage in Hebron, as there are checkpoints almost everywhere in the city. Go go go. You will regret not to.

Hantourism did a great job helping us set up a trip. First, Auberg Hostel is a great hostel, with good prices and generous food. When our departure was at 4am (to go to Masada), they got up to fix us breakfast. Second, he connected us with a great driver, Nour, who took us everywhere. Third, he gave us good advice on where to go (and where to avoid). Great group. I will use them again next year, without question.
