The only really good thing about this was that it took us to the Mt. of Temptation. Otherwise, it’s your average cable car.

Riding a cable car on its own is no great thrill, but in this case you are rising steeply with great views--and never reaching sea level. The Monestary and Church at the top are a highlight.

The cable car offered a nice view of Jericho, it was clean, and a fun ride up to the monastery. The people were friendly and it is one of the “must do” attractions in Jericho. We also had fun riding the camels in the parking...More

The cable car ride was part of our pilgrimage tour. The lines for loading both up and return were not too long. Car windows were not that clean for taking photos but still the view was great. This was the best way for us to...More

Had very little time in Jericho and the tour bus made a break close to the Cable car. It's a shame we didn't have time to visit the monastery on top! But just climbimg to the top of the Temptation mountain was amazing!

We took the cable car up to the old city of Jericho also known as temptation mountain. They have a restaurant on the mountain with a great view. You also have the option to hike up to the mountain or back down.

You should be able to park on the street right in front of the entrance to the cable car service. It was not too crowded when we were there. Jericho is a smaller city. It is not congested.
