if you visit Jericho without fixed plan. this center that located at the center of the city will give you maps ans documents that explain the most attractions inside the city. you can ask the employee there any further questions. and it is the center after that you can start walking/ rent bicycle or take taxi.

The small office of the Tourist Information Centre is located in the main square of town. The young man who works there speaks very good English and is extremely polite and supportive.

Here you can arrange for a tour, to ride a camel or the cable car. They also have postcards! Friendly staff, it's right beside the ruins of the ancient city of Jericho.

It was kind of weird that the guy working there seemingly never heard of the hostel we booked our stay at, although it seemed to be a well known and well spoken of hostel in Jericho (Waleeds Hostel). All we needed was directions towards the address, but the employee didn't stop expaining us all about the tourist sites which wasn't really what we asked him for. When we asked for the street, he pretended not to know although the street turnded out to be 1min from the tourist information center. He gave us a free map, which was nice. But also there you could find any of the very few hostels but our hostel. Why isn't it marked on the map? There is no reason for it!
