About
Handmade ceramic collection by Irit Goldberg, that is presented at her pastoral gallery in Old Jaffa. Irit crafts her collection of stylish yet functional items at her private workshop, producing each piece individually by hand, with items in various colors and extraordinary textures in a color scheme that spans cream, white, grey and turquoise, with elements of gold or silver. In addition the gallery has items from antique shops and markets worldwide such as a selection of vintage treasures from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s that she culled with impeccable taste: Silver tablewares, crystal jars and other objets d'arts sit alongside Irits's handcrafted ceramics, forming a pleasing juxtaposition between old and new. All of the ceramics pieces, except those with elements of gold or silver, are heat-resistant and oven-safe. Irit also designs and creates custom-order pieces, and offers express delivery service all over the world.

Not only is this store the cutest place I've ever visited, but the artist is exceptional in every way. Irit is so talented- I wanted every piece in the store! She took time with me to look at items and offer opinions and I loved that, too. I will always visit this store and highly recommend it to anyone going to Tel Aviv/Jaffa.

We discovered this beautiful and charming spot when visiting Jaffa and came home with beautiful handmade ceramics. Irit herself is lovely and it's easy to see she takes pride in her work...highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

This store is a gem tucked away beneath the old and curvy streets of Jaffa. The owner, Irit, was so lovely and showed us her favorite pieces, all handmade by her in her studio. The ceramics are individually unique and at affordable prices, with shipping worldwide if you don't want to carry it back in your suitcase! I have the porcupine decorative piece in turquoise and absolutely love it. You must make this a stop in your trip to Tel Aviv, it was a breath of fresh air.

There are many small little paradise spots in Tel-Aviv/Jaffa , yet IHome , Irit Goldebrg's gallery is a special one. On my last visit to Jaffa I stumbled onto this special gallery where I fail in love with every ceramic object/dish I saw. If I would have come to Isreal by boat I probably would have bought the entire store. This is not your regular ceramic gallery , its a true art. Irit is working with different material which she embedded to the clay, the results are breathless.
Upon my visit Irit was in the gallery and her love to her work was clear from her explanation, it felt as if every object / dish that she creats is her "only child".... Irit, I promise to be back on my next visit, to buy more...
and to all of you ... do not miss it.

I love to collect unique pottery and this certainly fits the bill! I wanted everything in this shop! I did buy one smaller platter and hope to communicate with the shop owner about another few custom pieces or al least pieces that weren't available in the color I was looking for. A must see for pottery lovers!

Irit had unique style and doing great ceramic works. I bought few things from shelves but there was no enough quantity of plates that time. Irit agreed to make them specially for me. It took a month but now I have ideal set for taking guests at home. Every work is talented and manifique.

Irit Goldberg's shop is a gem. We stumbled upon it and fell in love. Her handmade ceramics , plates and objects are out of this world. She makes everything with love and it shows.
We had bought a series of gorgeous plates and matching bowls, and when I arrived back home in New York, I realised I wanted more. She especially made more for me and I received them two days after they were ready. I am a part time decorator as it is my passion and I could not find anything matching the quality and beauty of Irit's objects in New York! Hurry you will be sure to fall in love with something!
She is also really lovely and the customer service is amazing.

Irit Goldberg's hand-made, one-of-a kind ceramics boutique, is an intimate, charming and unique space, located in the heart of the historical old city of Jaffa.

As you enter the space, you feel taken by the irresistibly pleasant scent, precise and delicate lighting and authentic arabesque interior architecture, populated by sensitively crafted ceramic objects.

The plates, bowls, trays, candle holders, utensils and mugs amongst other things, are unique and and exquisite in the sense that their style is a combination of classical European houseware, with a-symmetrical, organic sculpting, staining and glazing.

They are sensitively positioned next to original antique silverware, carefully selected and collected by Irit. The hand-made and antique objects complement each other and all of the objects are for sale.

Irit Goldberg's store is a unique gem amongst the stone alleyways of the old city.
Definitely worth a visit!

And while the view of the old port of Jaffa is outstanding, the food is fabulous. Portions are huge. And the starter salads are delicious.
