Ein Gedi Eco Park is now a promoter of environmental education and sustainable technologies. Stop by to see the creative mud structures, solar cookers, composters, and compost toilets. You can take a look at the animals as it was Originally a zoo for the children of the Ein Gedi Kibbutz. Go on a tour to the Dead Sea, create your own bottle farm, or make some herbal tea on the solar cooker.

Absolutely a must!! There are so many trails suitable for all ages and abilities. I did two holes and probably would have done a third if I had another day. I did the Arugot on the first day and loved it! I didn't even have time to make it to the lookout because I started at 1:00 and you just... More

A beautiful Oasis still today! Numerous waterfalls and streams! Excellent for hiking, and camping! Soft drinks can be purchased near the entrance! You will want to stock up before starting up the trail!

We were only in Ein Gedi for a short time. I have been here before and hiked up to the upper pools to see stunning waterfalls and even went swimming in the pool. If time permits it is worth the effort to hike up past the first pool to the second. you'll never forget it.

Visited Ein Gedi with my family in FEB 2015. The weather was perfect for walking and didn't disappoint. My grandchildren spotted quite a few animals. There are a number of water falls on the site. There are also a number of caves in the area - David took shelter in these caves while on the run from King Saul. It... More

We have enjoyed several trails and got to many waterfalls and pools. In March 2015 there is big reconstruction of the main road in Ein Gedi. You will not get to beach (seems to be closed) and also gas station is closed. Plan ahead your refuelling, as next gas station (to the South) is about 40 kms.

This was part of a tour, and I wasn't expecting much, but this part was my favorite. There are so many animals to see that are fairly close when you walk by. There's plenty of fun trails that lead to hidden waterfalls and they are clear and cool. We jumped in right away. I cannot describe how amazing it feels... More
