Yes- that’s correct- and this was a pleasant surprise for us. We had no idea what to expect… and here we find rows and rows and levels of stores and restaurants and even entertainment- all abutting the scenic and colorful marina with dozens of sailboats and it all leads to the pristine Ashkelon cost of the Mediterranean Sea.

I was happy that “I visited this place” and I would be happy to do so again, and to recommend it to others.

Hint- eat at Gatos: great place, great food and atmosphere and great elegant kosher supervision (and I have no proprietary nor business interest in that establishment- you are invited to read my “helpful” review of that place, published today as well).

Nicer than anything in Florida, Aruba or Mexico. Highly recommend for those interested in fine restaurants, boardwalk, stores, kids car rentals, nature, beauty and paradise.

Nice place in summer season

For sure, during summer season this is a nice place where to have lunch/dinner, enjoy of the sea view, or just relaxing looking on the fishermans working.

Very crowded on Saturday.

Lots of locals and tourists in the marina area. The 2 km walk out to the end of the quay is still worth it, but make sure you have water and hats.

After great opening last year it became number one place for my little girl.There are s lot of interesting activities for little children,free LEGO tables,dinosaurs lounge with banjo and jimbory,variety of cars for rent,cinema,a lot of restaurants also diary,fish,Irish pub,pizzeria,waffle bar,,hummus ,sushi,tapas,oven backed potatoes,chain eight(offers variety of dishes for 8 shekel)
There are different events for all ages:concerts of local stars and shows for little children
Each one will find something for himself to return again and again

Great during the week; super crowded on Saturdays

Just as the title says: the strip mall is lovely for sure with lots of restaurants, a movie complex, great sea breeze, some (expensive) shops and lots of free parking, indoors and out AND a pretty cool dinosaur park for kids. Problem is on Saturday, the place is teeming and walking can be very uncomfortable. Also, many restaurants, if not most, are closed due to kashrut licenses.

Definitely Ashkelon's #2 attraction

Ashkelon isn't the most exciting city, and the marina is not the most exciting I've ever visited, but its a nice place to get a meal and walk. The view of the sea is lovely and its close to the beach.
