Even our trip of 4D3N was shortened to 2D1N due to 6.4 magnitude quake on 29 July, we had great times from the very first moment we commenced our trek. We received a warm welcome and good care from our guide; Budi and the porter team. Budi made sure that our tummy was happy during the hike. We enjoyed a good selection of snack he offered, none has disappointed us. Not to mention when he went back to look for my friend and me when the first quake struck to make sure that everyone was safe. The porter team also did a great job on getting the best spot for our tents. Their food was nice. What impressed me the most is when I eventually arrived at the base camp and found that our tents and backpacks were removed from the damaged camping area. Some of them already went on carrying our stuff to a safe spot while some waiting for us at the base camp so we didn't feel lost. I highly recommend Tutik and his team, especially Budi the guide. I hope that locals there stay safe and get back to their normal lives real soon.

We were meant to do a 4d3n trip but a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck forcing us to end our trip on the second day. It was frustrating but we were lucky to get down safely without any injuries and didn't get trapped at the lake. Our guide Budi was probably the best guide I ever had. He took the very best care of us, always made sure no one was left behind. He went up to get me after the first earthquake hit as I was farther up than the rest of the group. The porters also helped carrying our bags on the way down without us even asking. They maintained a good spirit throughout the trip. I'd definitely recommend  Tutik. And ask for Budi if you want a guide that could make you feel like you are trekking with your own favourtite uncle.

Found this company online with good reviews so contacted this company. The whatsapp replies were pretty prompt and the pricing is relatively reasonable as compared with other companies so I decided to go ahead with this company. I went on a 3d2n trip with my husband. The guide assigned to us was Zaidan. He had picked us up at airport to our accomodation for the first night. The lodging was good, it was a traditional Indonesian wooden house with an attic feel. It's also very quiet, I had a good sleep that night. Zaidan also briefed us on the trek and gave us some options based on our physical fitness after going to the summit. The next morning, we met Tutik and our porters, Pian and Repal, and we set off for Rinjani. Pian and Repal were very good. They went ahead of us so that they can set up resting area and lunch. All the meals were awesome. It's local food, served with fruits and hot beverages. Snacks were also provided throughout the whole trip to address hunger pangs. Zaidan helped me to carry my bag when I got tired, which I am very grateful. When we got to the rim, the tent is pitched already. The tent, pillows (rectangular foam) and sleeping bags are clean. The sleeping bags are very warm so don't have to wear many layers to keep warm. It is very windy at the rim and the tent managed to keep out the wind. I couldn't sleep well on the first night as the tent is flapping from the wind. We feedbacked to Zaidan and the porters fixed it right away. I had a very good sleep on the 2nd night. On the summit day, we woke up at 1 plus in the morning to have a light breakfast before heading for the summit. What looks so close to us is actually so far away! The last bit to the summit is gruelling. I guess we were too slow and Zaidan had to pull me up the gravel path. I was about to give up as I got too breathless in the thin air and tired (from the lack of sleep). I had to stop every 5 steps but Zaidan encouraged me to go on. It was super windy along the way as well and Zaidan passed me his sarong despite himself freezing as well. we made it up to the summit finally. Zaidan helped us to take a lot of photos as my fingers were frozen (it's impossible to remove gloves) My husband and I were thinking how to descend from summit as the sides of the mountain are very steep and the gravel path is very slippery. What I didn't expect was Zaiden taught us to run down from the summit and down the mountain! It was very fun, as though you are skiing on a rock mountain. Subsequently, he also told us when we should run and when we should not. I had trekked many times but it was my first time running a mountain. I guess it is possible because the ground is loose sand. When we descended from the summit to the rim, we got very tired (from the lack of sleep and physical fitness) so we skipped the hot spring and spent one more night on the rim. When we got out of the forest, we were driven to the office to drink up and clean up ourselves (we were super filthy because of the sand & dirt) before they sent us to our next destination. Zaidan recommended us to go to Mt Tambora next time. Overall, I must say the team has done very well in making sure that we feel comfortable throughout the whole trip. Looking back, I still couldn't believe we made it to the summit because it was so tough. If I were to go again, I would ask for Zaiden!

I went with 4 other friends and we had a really enjoyable time on the 3D2N trek to the crater rim - summit - lake. Our guide was Zaidan, and he was supported by a team of porters who carried our things, set up our tents and cooked for us. Even though the weather was not fantastic (the rain made our descent a little tough + clouds obscured our view @ sunset), Zaidan sought to make our experience comfortable by slowing down and/or guiding us through the rocky terrain. The food exceeded our expectations - they provided us with full, complete meals (e.g., Fried rice, Soup with noodles, Fried banana, and ample veggies and fruits). The sleeping and toilet arrangements were also comfortable enough for the 5 of us - the porters did a good job in setting up whatever that was necessary for our overnight 2N stay. Overall, a wonderful experience w this trekking company. Highly recommend (-:

Rinjani - 2nd highest volcano mountain in Indonesia. To organize for 17 person & myself as a first timer too, I m pressured & hv big responsibility to ensure each and everyone of us are safe & well care of. I hv searched a lot and a Malay friend recommended "Tutik Rinjani Trekker" to us as their company has good service, big, has wide connection & can be trusted. After this trip, I would say their service is super good, VIP service & I would highly recommended to my friends. 1) We feel touch especially when we reached the lunch stop on the first day, watermelon was served. When we tired after come down from the peak, they welcoming us with "Pokary Sweat". The last meal, they cheered us by bottle of fresh orange juice. 2) All tent provided are brand new, double layers & clean. Thick floor mat, pillow & sleeping bag, very comfortable. 3) Foods are acceptable despite the constraint resources. They carry mineral water for us for the 1st two days & fresh spring water at segara anak lake. Unlimited hotwater provided. 3) The two guides and one medical guide are very experience. We have few slower members but they patiently followed & gave encouragement until they completed the trek. Cheif guide Zaidan is a good listener, well English speaking, fun & cheerful person. He brought all of us to Hotsprings and took nice group video for us. Medi is fully equipped with medical needs. Muscle cramp, fever, eye drops for my eye(dust went in), he even has nail clipper for cutting toe nail (toe ache) 🤣🤣🤣 4) Other crews are good too. Eric cook for us, tents are ready when we arrived, Vip chairs & tables ready. What we did were just enjoyed our trip with peace of mind. It is not easy to have all 17 members successfully to the summit and completed the circuit as scheduled. Without their VIP service, we may not make the trip more easier, fun, enjoyable & so wonderful. Lastly, we have a Campfire night in the forest to celebrate our achievement and "Malam perpisahan" with all members together. Unforgettable trip ! Love it and we will visit again, Rinjani !
