It is a bit of a drive from Sengiggi but if you want to see the sunset its ideal. The viewpoint has parking which is free but as with everything in Lombok there will be a guy demanding payment. The hike up is minimal but the view is clear as there are no trees or anything blocking.

Even Senggigi has a few car parks that over look the ocean to Bali but if you are heading north then make sure you stop here and take a look at the great view from here.
We went to the pearl farm from the Sheraton in Senggigi and got the Blue Bird Taxi to stop here on the way north to take some photos.
Yes there is 2 spots.
This is not a must do attraction but stop and have a look if passing by.

The place called "Malimbu Hill" is probably the corner that goes around a hill that has been blocked from entry. The tarmac hugs the hill on its side and there's some blue-painted horizontal metal poles that prevent visitors from falling down the edge to the sea below. You can see the Gili's in the far distance.
Continuing along the road, you will come upon another headland jutting out into the sea. The photos that have been uploaded by the reviewers here... the ones with a headland jutting out into the sea is this place or what I think some reviewers call Malimbu 2. I prefer this headland as you can walk to the far end and enjoy the sea view with the swaying coconut trees in the breeze.
Beautiful landscape...

The sunset at Sengigi area is at 6pm. Do make sure you make it to Malimbu Hill on time. On the way to Malimbu hill, you could stop by at Villa Hantu ("Ghost" villa) to take a few pictures there. The Villa Hantu basically is an abandoned building right beside the beach. People climbed to the top and take decent pictures.
Malimbu Hill 2 has nicer view than Malimbu Hill 1. Reason being, at Malimbu Hill 1 you only able to see 2 Gilis whereas at Malimbu Hill 2, you are able to see all the 3 Gilis islands from there. Do walk down to the coconut trees from the Malimbu Hill 2. It offers a great scenery and the sunset view from there.
Please do not litter and keep the place clean.
Transportation: My friend and I took a blue meter taxi to these places and cost us around IDR150,000 for two ways because we stopped by at the three places to take pictures. I believe if you try to negotiate with those 'BLACK' car (unlicensed) driver, you may able to get a cheaper price for the short trip.
Hope my reviews help and please like it if it is :D

Great viewpoint stop with lovely photo opportunities especially coming back from the Gili tours or the waterfalls tour. Ask the driver to stop here for some pictures.

The hill located north of Lombok Island is quite beautiful and not inferior to Bukit Merese. The hill is also not far from Senggigi Beach, just 20 minutes to be able to enjoy the panorama of the sea from the top of the hill. Reasonable for you to visit if you are around Senggigi Beach.

Beautiful space where the hills meet the ocean. Pristine beach and green as far as you can see. A perfect spot to rest your sight and mind. Will be back for sure!!

This hill is he best view point of Senggigi and its beaches. You can easily stop with the motorbike or the car and enjoy the amazing views of the sea and the mountains.

This hill has a stop/rest area where you can view an amazing sunset above the sea. There are lots of peddlars selling jewellery, corn etc.
Come early to get a good spot for photos! And there are some monkeys around, which will not harm you if you do not bother them.
