Our group of 4 did the 2 day 1 night hike and we had a great experience!
First the organization by Opick was very easy via WhatsApp and he took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. In addition to that he organized all the transports and even the pick up from the Harbour one day before.
We were very happy with our team and we are amazed of the hard work of the people that carried our camping stuff and cooked our delicious meals. Thank you for that! Especially our tour guide Sinjan was such a lovely and funny person, he motivated us when climbing up the summit which we really needed.
Although it was a strenuous hike it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it doing it with rinjani mission for the fair price that was offered to us.

Rinjani-mission were an excellent company. Right from the beginning communication via WhatsApp was very good and quick. Transfers from harbour to accommodation were well organised. And accommodation was nice and clean. We were given a good briefing before hand.
The porters and guide were excellent. We opted for the 3D/2N tour. However due to not feeling well we were unable to complete the sumit. The guide encouraged us to carry on but did not force us to continue against our will (which I think is very important given how hard the trek is). The guide was very flexible.
The food was very good and snacks were readily available. There was more than enough water which some groups didn't have.
There were no hidden costs and equipment was well maintained.
Most importantly the guides and porter ensured that all rubbish was taken down the mountain (unlike some groups). It was obvious they cared about this
Nothing was too much effort for the porters and guide.

Our Experience with Rinjani-mission was amazing! I did the hike from Senaru to the Crater rim with my Dad and uncle. A friend of mine recommended Opick and his organization to us and i couldn’t recommend it enough.
The communication before was very easy and Opick super friendly.
We arrived at Senaru, were greeted with a welcome drink and a short intro about the hike and met the amazing Team!
The first night we slept in a homestay which was basic but clean and the local food was very tasty! Also make sure to check out the two big waterfalls just right next door. Probably the most pretty waterfalls in whole Lombok!
The second day we started the hike. The crew was funny, the hike beautiful and food way really really good!
When we came to the summit, our tents were ready and we got some fried bananas with chocolate sauce. The views for sunset and sunrise over the crater were even better than i expected it and no picture can do it justice!
Long story short: if you want a fun and professional team, a cool vibe, great food and an awesome overall experience, i can really recommend, doing it with Opick and his amazing Team!

I went up Rinjani with Rinjani mission, and it was totally fantastic! Our guide Josi looked after us so well, told us loads of cool stories, was really environmentally conscious and made sure we didn’t leave behind any trace of our camp, and was great to chat to. Our porters were also really friendly, carried up tents, cooked food and made our camp on the crater before we even got there! We watched the sunset over the mountains next to a campfire. Opick organised evrything really smoothly. Totally recommend

A wonderful experience! Contacting Opick via WhatsApp was very easy and the guides, although they spoke little English, were very pleasant. We felt very taken care of by Ryan, who was our guide. One girl was not feeling well and her help and attitude were unbeatable. The amount of food they give is not very large, nor did it have much quality, but for a couple of days nothing happens. I would have appreciated a little more organization on the first day (we left the hotel late, we went to the starting point of the route and had to go back because they had forgotten to go through the control office), but even so my experience was very good and I recommend going with them.

This trek was amazing, i did 3 days 2 nights, it’s definitely not easy but it’s really worth it ! I had a really good experience with the company as well, everything went smoothly. The highlight of that trip was our guide Deri and all the carriers who did everything for us to have the best experience. Deri is an honest person who will do his best to help you through the hard times with a smile on his face. So of course I recommend doing the rinjani trek with this company and I will for sure come back again :)

The Opik team is super professional and friendly. We started in a very comfortable accommodation with a top-notch dinner and breakfast. Briefing given by Opik that same night, very conscious and the guide was always attentive. Top experience. Kitchen at base camp divine. A memorable experience

My boyfriend and I decided to do the trekking of Mt. Rinjani for our holidays. Friends of ours did the trekking already with Rinjani Mission and they strongly recommended us to do it with them. Therefore, we decided to follow their advices.
We had a guide and porters who were always there for us, anytime, anywhere, which was really pleasant. The porters are real heros.
We had amazing food, always extremely well decorated and really yummy. As well as that, we slept in a tent that was extremely confortable. We had zero difficulty to find sleep. Nothing felt like camping, as we thought it would, but rather like luxury !
We we’re able to do breaks whenever we feel the need to. Everything was based around us and our needs.
In consequence, I thank Rinjani Mission for their constant kindness and for having taking care of us that well at anytime. We lived a truly dream by your side and I am really sad that it ended. You made our trip to Lombok the best one with the trekking of Mt. Rinjani. We’ll come back to Lombok when our legs will have had some rest and will definitely do the trekking of the volcano with you again. Thank you endlessly !

We had an amazing experience on our 3 day hiking tour with our guide Opick! The scenery is breathtaking with all the different views at the summit, the lake and its volcano in the middle. The porters and guides did a perfect job and were always in a good mood. They took care of everything and seemed very experienced. Even though some parts of the trek were quite exhausting, they always knew how to motivate the group and supplied us with delicious meals and snacks. I would definitely recommend Rinjani Mission to everyone!

We did a 2 days 1 night tour with Rinjanimission to the crater rim. It was a great experience hiking up Mt. Rinjani, one of the highlights of our holiday.
The day before the trip, we were picked up from Bangsal Harbour and were brought to a really nice accomodation in Senaru. There, we met Opick, the organizer of the whole trip. We got a free welcome drink and Opick explained us the route for the trip on the next day.
After a short rest at the room, we wanted to see the waterfalls in Senaru, so a guide accompanied us there and we could take a shower under the beautiful waterfalls.
The next day, we got up at 7 a.m., had some breakfast and started hiking at 8 a.m. Robi, our guide, was very friendly and we talked a lot to him. He told us about the life of the people in Lombok, the coffee making and the monkeys. He even took some beautiful pictures. Most of the time, we walked through the jungle. Even though we had little training, we were able to complete the hike in about 7 hours in total. On the way, the porters cooked great lunch and we always got some cookies at the short breaks from our guide.
When we arrived at the crater rim, we were very exhausted, but the view at the crater lake and the top of Mt. Rinjani was incredible. In the afternoon, the porters cooked fried bananas for us and we got some tea or coffee.
Afterwards, we could see the beautiful sunset directly from our camping site.
Later it became very windy, so we hid in the tent. The porters and our guide were so friendly to bring us our dinner, so we could eat it inside the tent. After watching the beautiful stars in the milky way, we went to sleep. The night was also very windy, but because of the sleeping bags, we didn‘t have to freeze.
In the morning, we got up at 6 a.m. to see the first sunrays, had breakfast and after getting our backpacks ready, we started walking down. It took about 4 hours and we had very good lunch again. The walk down was very dusty, so we recommend to bring wet wipes and a breathing mask. We also want to mention, that we really appreciate, that the guide and the porters took all of waste back down to ensure the cleanliness of the Rinjani National Park.
After returning to our accomodation of the first day, we could wash up and change clothes and afterwards, we were brought to Kuta. (everything included in the price)
All in all, we had a great trip and an experience, we will never forget. We really recommend doing this tour, especially with Rinjanimission.
