If you are in the area its worth seeing, but don't go too far out of your way. The waterfall comes out through a cave which you can swim in but seemed a bit dangerous as it was very full and pouring down into the catchment area and seemed to have a strong current. I know the the locals swim in it but maybe its needs the right conditions. They control the flow of water to irrigate the rice paddies down below. It does have a beautiful view back across the rice paddies but its not somewhere to spend too much time.

Most people will skip this place, but I certainly recommend it. It might not be grand compared to hills and lakes in Sumba, but it was worth it to watch the locals flock around and depend their daily lives on this spring water. The water is very refreshing and extremely clear.

The waterfall was located quite secluded pouring out of a cave. A dam was made around it to control water for irrigating rice fields in front of the waterfall.

So, the scenery between the waterfall and the rice fields in front of it was kind of divided by the man made structure of the irrigation system.

Along the irrigation canals you can see locals washing their clothes and children taking baths.

We didn't get a chance to swim there, I don't think visitors were allowed to swim at all.

Not much to see or do there.
