Went there because my friend recommend it. So, it was soo hot there! The sun was scorching like non stop and difficult to go there if you do not have a car. Seemed there was none of public transport to get there at the moment, lucky me to get borrow a car [plus driver] from my friend. There was 2 point view to enjoy Mandeh islands. One just sitting from a high pointview while snacking that you have to buy from local seller which, in my opinion, not polite. Why I said it. Because, although I bought so many from them, they still will shoo you after 30 min. I will understand if I bought nothing but a glass of water, but seriously, I spent a lot for food and drink there and they still annoyed. So I went look for boat tour which will take me for island visiting. I paid 600k rupiah for a noat which actually can be use for 6-10 people. The boat owner and crew was more nice person and polite also. The islands itself was indeed beautiful but still lack safety and facility tourism issue for some spot. If this is your 1st time to west sumatera and you only has 3 days to stay, I'm warning you, you need all day [1 day] from 7 or 8 in the morning until evening just to enjoy this islands and time for going back home to the city is not include

This place still naturaly hidden paradise! Amazing white sand beach and many small island located closely to the the main beach. Not to far from Padang city, but better to arrived in the morning to have the full day playing on the beach. From the top of the hill we can see the full landscape scenery of blue ocean and many islands. Hope one day there will be a hotel located closely to the beach so we can stay for a night here.
