I only consult Lite "N' Easy Tour for the information of "Paci Jawi", and then while I was going to book a tour from them, my friend offer me a trip there. Lite "N' Easy Tour not only replied promptly, but also suggested me other sightseeing activities after I confirmed not to book their package. I really appreciated their kind service. It turned out that I should had gone with Lite "N' Easy Tour cause my friend got the wrong location, so when we arrived, the racing was already ended. My friend also had the wrong time (Paci Jawi was on every Saturday, but my friend thought it was available everyday). Next time I travel to west Sumatra, I'll just rely on a professional agent, such as Lite "N' Easy Tour.

We contacted Lite 'n easy tour to see if there would be any Rafflesia flowers blooming during our visit over Chinese New Year weekend. They quickly got back to us and let us know that there would be and set us up with a driver to pick us up from our hotel and a local guide to take us to the flower. They even asked the guide how far into the forest the flower was so that we could get an estimate of the time it would take to see it. We were blessed that our guide actually showed us not one but two blooming Rafflesia flowers that were only about a 20 minute hike away from each other in the jungle. It was amazing to see a new one and one that was about a week old! We were blown away by how big they were! I mean it's different to read about something and to see it with your own eyes. I would highly recommend Lite 'n easy tour to anyone looking to take tours around Bukittinggi or who wants to see the blooming Rafflesia flower. They took care of everything and made sure we had a great time.

We travelled with our family of five with guide Zan around Bukkithinghi. What a splendid guide with lot of local knowledge. He knew all the great spots, reliable restaurants and amazing views. We felt so welcome everywhere. Take this tour if you want to explore the real Sumatran life.

Fikar was our guide and driver for 3 days in Sumatra. His English is great and he was nice. Fikar prices are not cheap but Fikar is extremely organized and knows what he is doing. He picked us in Medan at the JW Marriott Hotel which he recommended. The van was super clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Fikar had water, candies/snacks and pillows for us in the car. Our itinerary was also printed for us which was nice. We drove to Bukit Lawang and stayed there for a couple of days. Fikar took care of everything for us: we had someone carrying our luggage to the guesthouse, he gave us snacks, bug spray and plugs for the room as well as a waterproof backpack for the trekking/tubbing. That was so nice! We then drove to Banda Aceh with a one night stop to cut the drive in half as the road is not that great and the trip is long. Fikar was supposed to drop us off at the Banda Aceh pier so we could take a boat to Pulau Weh but he insisted to take us to the island as we had a lot of luggage and didn’t receive confirmation from our hotel for a pickup. That was so wonderful. We fully recommend Fikar and his team services; they are true professionals.

If you’re looking for someone who knows bukittinggi inside out, Habibie is the man. His favourite roads are always the countryside and he knows the little roads at the back of his head. Day 1, we covered Harau Valley; Murai waterfall, coffee by the paddies, little Europe attraction, delicious minang food, massive kelok 9 structure as well as beer during sunset. Day 2, we started with tea at kiniko cafe, istano silindung bulan, pagaruyung palace, pariangan old village, unique lunch on the hillside, lake maninjau and koto gadang. Though the journey was long but it was totally worth it. Friendly fella this Habibie and you’ll definitely have a good experience with him. Big thanks to Habibie and to de kock cafe for being such wonderful hosts. Fantastic!
