We contacted Lite 'n easy tour to see if there would be any Rafflesia flowers blooming during our visit over Chinese New Year weekend. They quickly got back to us and let us know that there would be and set us up with a driver to pick us up from our hotel and a local guide to take us to the flower. They even asked the guide how far into the forest the flower was so that we could get an estimate of the time it would take to see it. We were blessed that our guide actually showed us not one but two blooming Rafflesia flowers that were only about a 20 minute hike away from each other in the jungle. It was amazing to see a new one and one that was about a week old! We were blown away by how big they were! I mean it's different to read about something and to see it with your own eyes. I would highly recommend Lite 'n easy tour to anyone looking to take tours around Bukittinggi or who wants to see the blooming Rafflesia flower. They took care of everything and made sure we had a great time.

I only consult Lite "N' Easy Tour for the information of "Paci Jawi", and then while I was going to book a tour from them, my friend offer me a trip there. Lite "N' Easy Tour not only replied promptly, but also suggested me other sightseeing activities after I confirmed not to book their package. I really appreciated their kind service.
It turned out that I should had gone with Lite "N' Easy Tour cause my friend got the wrong location, so when we arrived, the racing was already ended. My friend also had the wrong time (Paci Jawi was on every Saturday, but my friend thought it was available everyday). Next time I travel to west Sumatra, I'll just rely on a professional agent, such as Lite "N' Easy Tour.

Our brief to Lite'n'Easy and our guide Fikar was to explore Minangkabau history, culture and food, and our 5-night tour delivered on all counts. We also wanted to explore the beautiful valleys, lakes and jungles of the region, and again we were very satisfied.
All in all, Fikar was a generous host, answered our many questions honestly and no subject was off limits. He went out of his way to provide authentic local experiences and we came away with our expectations exceeded.

We had a great 2 days with Habibi from Lite and easy travel. initially we wasnt thinking about having a guide for the trip at Bukittinggi but the activity (Paragliding at Pucak Lawang)we wanted to do there has very little english information on the internet.
we contacted Habibi (found his info from facebook and also thru their travel agent website) to look for help and he instantly got back to us and helped us arrange the paragliding the next day
the actual paragliding was great but what was really the high light was seeing the Rafflesia and the Pacu Jawi (cow racing). Highly recommend Habibi to anyone looking for a more in depth travel experience in Bukittinggi.

Enjoyed a fantastic private tour of North Sumatra with our guide Fikar. Fikar was helpful and highly responsive as we planned our tour, and remained attentive and informative throughout our 8 day tour. Fikar struck the perfect balance of staying close and leaving us to ourselves. He drove very safely, had an extensive network of local guides and really helped us to increase our understanding of this beautiful and fascinating region. We can highly recommend Fikar, as well as as Sutris and At, our guides on the jungle trek in Bukit Lawang.

Amazing experience. We prepaid the tour in 2020, because of Covid we could not travel. They were in touch with us all the time, so really felt money is not lost. This year 2022 we managed to Sumatra, they kept their promise and we even customized our trip a bit. We had an amazing 1 week trip from Medan to Padang with amazing tour guide. Unforgettable, pictoures, just different world. Thanks to Lite'N'Easy tour.

This was an amazing trip! The tour was organised in a very professional way, and our expectations were more than met. Our tour guide Zan was very friendly and explained us the country, the cultures and everything typical in Indonesia very well. We can recommend the company Light n easy very much.

We travelled with our family of five with guide Zan around Bukkithinghi. What a splendid guide with lot of local knowledge. He knew all the great spots, reliable restaurants and amazing views. We felt so welcome everywhere. Take this tour if you want to explore the real Sumatran life.

Thanks to my guide Habibi for making my dream come true. I wanted to visit the Pasu Jawi festival. He found a village where private bull races were held and arranged a trip. There were no official games on this day. I saw the bull races. I recommend it

Booked for tour including Harau Valley and Maninjau lake. Very good. Fikar is knowledgeable and helpful. The tour is a steady pace through beautiful surroundings. Fikar speaks good English so communication not a problem. Highly recommend them as a company. Very professional.
