A must visit when you are in Padang, especially in Bukit Tinggi. Built in 1926, imported from Germans, this city icon is a city landmark. Very famous, located at the heart of the city. Surrounded by traditional market. Very beautiful view from its top.

Just to let everyone know you can view this tower best from the steps of the local shopping mall as it's surrounded by a high fence The area around the tower is under redevelopment and looks like it will take a while !
