provides good view of Bukittinggi cities from the bridge. However, very difficult to take photos with the bridge name if you are on the bridge.

The bridge was built in 1995 to connect the historical tourist attraction of Fort de Kock and Bukittinggi Zoo. From this bridge, to the north, you can see the beautiful Bukit Barisan hills and Bukittinggi Town Hall located up above the hill. To the south,...More

Seriously there is nothing impressive about this bridge. In fact, it connects two of the most nightmarish tourist locations in Bukittinggi. On one side is Fort de Kock where there are many caged animals. There look malnourished and depressed. It is also badly maintained. On...More

Another landmark in Bukittinggi that you can walk across. It's interesting. If you have extra time to spend in Bukittinggi, this can be an option for walking tour.

Easily spotted from the street makes a nice view for photos. Don't go to the bridge itself as this means you enter Fort de Kock and support the pathetic zoo. Not a historic place as it was built in 1995.
