I recently made a dive trip to Manado which was my fourth visit, the last one was in 2004. I have dive with three other dive operators there over the years. However, this time round I decided to try out other operator and after some research, I bought a dive package from Tasik Ria Resort Diving. I am glad i... More

It was our second visit and what a great holiday! We had sea view from our chale, very good accommodation, spacious in-suit double room with air-conditioning, internet (if one needs it), television and fridge. As a trip down town is very close and cheap by taxi, you can buy drinks, chocolates and other small snack much cheaper at the local... More

Bunaken wall diving at its finest. Very comfy boat rides to Bunaken to dive the coral walls. The colours and variety is out of the is world. If you get to choose your dive guide I can recommend Ricco. He was a very attentive guide and made sure that everything was ok. He also offered to take photos of my... More

I did not dive, but my husband and eldest daughter did. The dive masters were caring and careful. One of the assistants took my youngest child snorkelling - this was complimentary! He was very kind and patient with her. The boats were big, steady and well-equipped. The dive company made up for the poor resort.

The repeated wall diving in Bunaken National Park with fairly strong currents at some dive sites and average visibility, and diving the same house reef muck diving site 4 times in 6 days became a bit boring. The one hour or so boat ride out to Bunaken is pleasant and allows you to wind-down and chill-out. The day trip to... More

A group of us volunteering at Tasikoki wildlife rescue decided to take some time for R and R and spend the day at Tasik Ria. They were very friendly and gave us a discounted rate since we were volunteering. The rooms were very spacious with a firm but comfy bed. The best part was the awesome outdoor shower. Dan the...
