This site wasn't that easy to find, but my taxi driver was fortunately quite persistent and we got there in the end. Entrance was free. No real signs in English though so it's not really that clear who the various tombs belong to. Quite clean...More

Recommended place to know well the history of makassar. Well maintain and staff friendly. Not far from the city center

This is the best of the historic cemeteries around the city. A good taxi driver should be able to find it. It is well kept, with a wonderful large shady tree to sit under, and the graves are interesting and varied. Some have lovely decoration....More

The historical early kings of Makassar kingdoms are buried here at different times. The tombs have similar styles but are from different periods.Some are brick, others stone. the royal family continues to use this place
