It looks nice but the site is locked and it is not lighted up at night. I was told by a taxi driver that it was possible to enter to the top before and the lights used to be lighted up. Unfortunately, not anymore...

With all the silent night large streets at Makassar City down town, I found visiting this place very energizing and feeling peaceful, due reminding us the history. The monument was surrounded by a beautiful garden and light by colors at night.
