We engaged their service from 21 Oct to 23 Oct 2022 and was assigned Buldan as our driver. Polite and friendly guy who was professional throughout our journey. Always punctual or earlier than our agreed time, and we felt safe the entire time. He messaged us one day before our trip to understand our itinerary too, and he was able to drive us to the destination accurately and quickly. He was also very obliging to our last minute request and new destinations that we wanted to explore, and even giving us good alternative options along the way (Loving the recommendation of the Japanese takoyaki at a local eatery and martabak). And we really appreciated his help in assisting in our food orders and communicating with the staff at restaurant. His service went above and beyond of what is expected of a driver. Our Batam trip went on smoothly and Buldan played a huge factor in that. Thank you and I highly recommend engaging their service. :)

1st time booked our transport with Mr Iwan for a group of 11pax frm 3rd to 5th July. Mr Iwan assigned us an excellent driver, Daniel. Daniel is friendly, flexible, he speak very good English and patience. He was always punctual and would also recommend us to a very good local seafood restaurant and kueh lapis. He offer to pick up the kueh lapis etc that we pre-ordered while we do our massage. Mr Iwan also recommend us to a massage service that provide good massage with a discount and offer us free transfer to the massage parlour.
Mr Iwan quoted us a very reasonable transport charges and he is very flexible. Will strongly recommend to engage Mr Iwan and team transport service.

Went Batam 2D1N and was looking for a driver to bring us around because we saw that grab was really difficult and risky to get in Batam. Came across Iwan's private hire website and decided to contact him. Iwan's responses are prompt and even gave a SGD5 discount because I contacted him via Whatsapp. The driver that was assigned to us was Ari. Ari was really nice, easy to talk to and welcoming. He even helped us to talk with all the locals whenever we want to buy tickets for an activity or collect our layer cakes which make everything so much more smooth and fuss free. He saw that my parents were looking to buy some handbags and recommended a place nearby which sells plenty of bags and we actually managed to find something they like over there. There was zero problem communicating with both Ari and Iwan in English as well. They really made this trip smooth and enjoyable and we will definitely go back to Iwan's private hire whenever we visit Batam again!

Driver Ari was very good and suggested a few places that we could go to as we didn't have any proper plans on what to do/where to go. We bounced our ideas on where we want to go and driver planned the best route and places we could go along the way (Golden City [go kart IDR650,000 for 10mins ride on 2 double karts and 1 single kart], SNL food, Lotte Grosir, Mega mall, Anchor cafe, Masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo, Batam Layers Cake, Bandoeng restaurant, Barelang Bridge and another trip back to the food stalls at Golden City (pls exercise caution of what you buy esp when food look/smell good; it may not agree with your stomach). You could inform driver an estimate of how long you would be inside each place and he will be arnd the vicinity. Just too bad that the weather wasnt good and it was raining almost the entire tour.
To digress, there aren't many (interesting) places to go in Batam besides seafood/kelong and with young kids in tow, the options are even lesser (don't bother w the theme parks bcoz safety/maintenance looked dodgy), hence we chose to go to various supermarkets instead and get cheap local products like rapika, tidbits, rancik, spices, crackers etc (we decided against buying crackers from small stalls in the malls [prepacked or by weight] as they will charge exorbitantly coz you're tourists! If you wish to proceed, pls buy those that had price tags). The magical number seems to be IDR220,000 for every single item - from krepek, telekung and blouse!

Mr Iwan was super responsive and prompt in confirming the driver services for our trip (with young child and elderly in tow) , and assigned Mr Fauzi and Mr Arif to assist with driving our trip members around. Mr Fauzi was very polite and soft-spoken. I made a mistake with one of our itinerary stops and ended up at a faraway location for one of our dinners, and we noted that this would mean he had to drive us back a long journey even after his break fast hour, and he was nice about it still. We offered to cover his break fast meal as a thank you. Mr Arif, who ferried us for our return trip to the terminal, was very friendly and shared interesting information about Batam. We recommend their services!

Second time engaging Iwan's transport service and highly recommended.
Pricing is competitive as compare to other transport companies and booking is fuss free.
Ari was appointed as our driver for our 4D3N trip in Nov2022. He was very accomodating in our last minute change in schedule and was always punctual. His food recommendations were also very good. No hard selling of any products. Strongly recommended to engage their services!

Went with a group of 10 with 0 itinerary planned. only a 1 day trip. Told the driver our expectations which was just Eat , Play & Chill.
He suggested a whole lot of things for us to pick out from and also helped us with our timing management.
Driver spoke fluent English and gave great service.
Everyone wanted Iwan's contact for future reference if they were to plan their own family / friend's trip again to Batam.
Price is very reasonable and places they recommend do have discounts as well if you book under IWAN.
Will definitely book Mr Iwan services again in future

2nd time booking with Pak Iwan. As expected, his service is tip top. Easy and fast respond from him. Though he is not the one who drive you around, but reast assured all his drivers are polite, on time, and cheerful. They will recommend places that is not so touristy. My driver, Pak Saridin (Ari) is the best who did not talk much but once you open a topic, he can talk making the journey a lively one. Pak Saridin is quite shy but friendly and most important , he is very patient. Two thumbs up!!!

Mr Iwan is very responsive right from the start of enquiry to confirmation. It's fuss free and smooth communication. Our assigned driver, Mr Fauzi is punctual, polite and attentive to elderly and young children. Will not hesitate to engage their service again

This is the 2nd time we decided to engage Pak Iwan service. Since we have yound children and 2 strollers usually just in case children need a nap outsids, transportation with driver make our travelling at Batam easier especially with the great service from Pak Iwan assigned driver Daniel. He would always be the first to come down of vehicle and open the door for us even under the rain. I'm glad to come across Pak Iwan transport service and he never fail to answer promptly on our query.
