Considered as the new tourist attraction in the area, Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge really gave us wonderful experience.
But better come here early in the morning, because it will be packed with tourist starting at 10am. And they are not implement a proper new normal protocol. So plan your trip wisely.

I recommend this place if you are a nature person! The longest bridge in South East Asia!
The view is so amazing!

The entrance fee is so affordable unless you want to trip along using your car (it will cost you around 150k rupiahs or $10). In front of the entrance, you will get welcome snack and drink.

After you come across the bridge, you can go to the waterfall and the lake that have a beautiful scenery especially in evening.

Enormous view of enchanted forest and waterfall from a suspension bridge. A perfect spot for nature lover. But you need to track the forest path (est. 350m) before reaching the bridge point, so you might need to wear comfortable shoes, light jacket, and umbrella. Cafe, restaurant, stage, toilets are available inside.

Would recommend to stay at glamping situ gunung. So the guests are allowed to walk repeatedly and soak in the view in the morning before the crowd and in the evening when the crowds have left. Beautiful lightings.

In the past few years, Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge has always been a magnet for holidaymakers in Sukabumi, West Java. Located at Situ Gunung Tourist Park, as a part of Mount Gede Pangrango National Park, the bridge has been branded as Southeast Asia's Longest Suspension Bridge. The title seemed to have been successful in attracting regional tourists, including ones from Jakarta. Tourists can enjoy the sky-high experience, explore the beautiful Curug Sawer waterfall, and adore the stunning scenery of Lake Situ Gunung. When the night falls, they can rent a tent from several camping grounds around the park, and get a thrill of a unique staycation experience in the middle of the forest. It is safe to say that Situgunung Suspension Bridge is one of the best nature attractions which sits just outside the Capital City of Jakarta.

Visiting Sukabumi with colleagues to skip daily work activities, from Jakarta. Took 3ish hours to get there, by car and highway, of course!
The suspension bridge were in Gede Pangrango National Park area, with 243 metres in length, 18 m width. And 161 metres height above ground level. Interesting, right?
For you, with acrophobia, please don't do...
Entrance fee with fully access to all attractions were cost 50K IDR/person. Car parking cost you 3K IDR/person.
Walk a bit before entering bridge gate and the staff welcoming you with traditional snack & drinks.
Safety first! You MUST wear safety harness once about crossing the bridge.
The view? It's incredible... walking over the tree forest down there and mountainous terrain as panoramic view. Satisfying your eyes. Lush green and blue color here and there, clean air......so refreshing!!
Plan your visit on hot season is better choice, than rainy season. And afternoon visit is better choice as less crowd visitors, and good for selfie / instagramable pictures!
Another attractions such us waterfall and lake can be reached by walking as well.

Parking : Limited
Access : Small car OK. Narrow lane for 2-way traffic.
Service : 7/10
Two kind of entrance fee. Rp 18,5 for the lake & waterfalls. Rp 50 for the suspension bridge. But there’s no difference entrance for both made me confuse. Free welcome drink & entertainment before the bridge. There’s no straight line the Q. it is only 2 bridge entrance, so ppl will push one to another to go fwd.
Wear shoes for hiking is highly recommended. Big No No for people with bad knee. Rocky & high terrance.

This bridge located at Taman Wisata Alam Situgunung, Sukabumi, West Java. From the city, it takes about 50mins to 1 hour to reach this destination. However, it depends on the traffic and peak hour such as long weekend or Holiday season. To enter this Taman Wisata, visitor have to pay entrance fees. For Local need to pay less than 20,000 rupiah for adult in the weekend/holiday season. For foreigner maybe double but i'm not sure. You need to walk about 2 mins walk to reach entrance for Situgunung Bridge. To walk on the bridge, For Local need to pay 150,000 Rupiah for 2 ways on the bridge and get Some refreshment. For foreigner maybe double but i'm not sure. However, if you don't want to walk on the bridge, no need to pay the fees. For local Resident who age above 65 or 70 if i'm not mistaken, no need to pay because it's free for them. From the entrance you need walk about 10-15mins to reach the bridge. It depends how fast you walk. The road is not smooth. Need to wear sports shoes to avoid any injuries. But if you lazy to walk, you can rent motorbike taxi called ojek to send you from the Situgunung entrance to the bridge and the other way. You need to pay about 60,000 for 2 ways. The bridge itself only can afford 90 people in total. So don't be surprise if you visit here during holiday, it will be very crowded and you need to queue in order to enter the bridge. The bridge is not steady so don't be surprise with the shake because of the wind. if you feel not well that day, it would be better not to enter the bridge. After all, its a great experience to walk on the bridge and take photo
