It's nice to see Alun-alun Tugu in Malang, it's near Malang Baru station. Maybe it looks like Bundaran HI at Thamrin Street Jakarta. The Tugu monument is not tall (Selamat Datang Monument in Jakarta higher), but it's greener.

Alun-alun Tugu have pool and garden surround it. There are some fishes and many beautiful lotus flower in the pool, I really like it. The garden is so beautiful too, many beautiful plants and flowers there, the most I like are palm and pine trees. Overall the place is clean and beautiful!

Malang people should have proud having Alun-Alun Tugu, located in center of city, characteristic of city, and green. More place like this, would be better! More fresh air available in the city :)

Good location for a morning easy run, easy access from Aria Gajayana hotel. Try not to arrive after 7am, the cars and motorcycle will fill the road.

Great place to meet and greet... make a new friend or enjoy the company of your own group. Many older visitors, couples and this place is very child friendly.

We went to Malang for a short visit and stopped by at the Alun Alun. I expected much more than just a small parc with silly artificial coloured flowers. Hotel Tugu , in front of the Alun Alun was impressive though for a visit .

The Alun Alun Tugu is a small section of greenery that punctuates the busy road that leads to the Train Station. Best visited in the cool of the evening. The lights are delightful.

Alun alun means square. This square is located in front of city Hall Malang. The sorrounding area was nice. It is good to walk around in the morning or afternoon before sunset.

It was a nice green space available for the community to enjoy. Many bird houses built to house the pigeons. Good thing is that there aren't mosquitoes so the visit in the park is very pleasant.

Nice place, good location, unfortunately for us it was raining when we visit this place. So we have no good memories of this place, better be going to Batu. But I guess it will be a nice place to spend sometime if you have nothing to do in a clear evening..

Located across the City Hall and not far from Malang Train Station(you could see the monument from the station). The flowers are beautiful, especially the blooming lotus at the pond. This is a-must-visit spot when you're visiting Malang city. If you are into coffee just like me, check the Java Dancer coffee shop just around the corner. Maybe some cold brew will be refreshing and perhaps a pizza will be recharge your energy.
