I don’t simply leave review. This is my first. We are coming from Singapore. I was recommended by my colleague about this private tour and feel their tour fits our plan with reasonable prices. Specially thanks to our friendly driver, Bondan. My friends have many questions and he was able to share the history and background of the places. He can speak well in English. Not only that, Bondan knows how to take good photos/ short videos when he chose to hike Ijen with us. Every time we have questions about what to bring before we leave, what to leave in car, what to eat around the places, he was able to give good recommendations. Other than this, every local guide in different places are friendly and kind too.
The weather is about 8 degrees when we hiked to bromo and ijen so prepare your jackets, gloves, long pant, etc. For the waterfall, the water is super cold and prepare to get all wet. For rafting, recommend to wear swimsuit and aqua shoes.
Overall, i will recommend ourtrip1st to my family and friends if they have vacation plan to East Java. Will come back again next year <3

We did the 2 day Tumpak Sewu and Mt Bromo sunrise tour and really enjoyed it. The days are long but it's a great way to see both attractions. I would recommend staying at Mador hostel and booking the trip with them.

I took a private tour, the first day to Tumpak Sewu then the next day to Bromo, Kingkong Hill and exploring Batu City, tomorrow morning I will rafting in Batu City, after that OTW Surabaya

Thank you OURTRIP1st & our awesome guide Bondan for the wonderful trip !
We went to Madakaripura water falls , Mt.Bromo,Ijen & pekalan rafting .
The tour was so organised and flexible , from picking us up from the airport to all of our tour spot , everything was arrange smoothly .
Special thanks and grateful to Bondan our driver also tour guide , for all the knowledge and stories we get to listen about Java , so that we go back home not only loving Indonesia much , but also knowing alot more about this country and this region of Indonesia .
Also Bondan is such a good driver and funny person , he followed us to the ijen hike knowing one of us will take a long time to hike up , he volunteered to walk with us slowly so that we can make it up there . And because of this trip , I will be booking another trip again with Ourtrip1st in the future . Definitely a trusted tour .Me and my friends enjoyed so so much!

This tour company really went above and beyond during difficult circumstances with the pandemic. We had a tour booked but unfortunately we had to cancel last minute due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Dani was so helpful and accommodating. He helped us every step of the way to get us safely to the airport and refunded our deposit for our tour even though this circumstance is out of their control and they will be hard hit with the halt in tourism. I would rebook with them in a heartbeat and hope to come back and see the sites one day under better circumstances. Thank you for making the best out of a difficult situation.

I was supposed to got for Bromo and Ijen, but as Ijen was closed they asked me to join the waterfalls. Everything was very well organized! Waterfalls were great and Bromo unbelievable. Got dropped of in Ubud in the middle of the night. We only did not have an opportunity eat have dinner that day, probably because of the long journey. We stopped at a supermarket to buy snacks instead.
Would definitely recommend the waterfalls/Bromo tour!

Overall a great experience with Bondan as our driver. He was very patient and understanding when we were having issues with visa and luggage at the airport. He is a really friendly and knowledgeable local guide to show us around East Java. We would travel with him again anytime.

Had a great time traveling through East Java and seeing tumpak sewu, mt bromo and ijen. The tour was awesome! The company took care of everything from transport, guides and stay at luxury hotel on the trip. Drivers were very safe. Would highly recommend!

Did the local tour where I was met with Dani who I have been liaising with days before the trip started. It was the 1D tour to see the Bromo sunrise as well as explore the surrounding areas. I asked for it to be a private tour and was definitely not disappointed.
Engaged an English speaking guide - Rahman - and was also being driven around in a jeep by the superb driver - Sukron.
Rahman was really good and made us feel really comfortable. We hit it off quite well and he helped to take awesome pictures, of which I have posted some here.
Sukron drove the jeep like it was his toy car - he really knew the roads well and we got from point to point with ease.
Besides the sunrise, we got to experience horse riding across the Sea of Sand to the Bromo crater, drove across the plains and got to take awesome pictures all along the way. We also visited the majestic Coban Pelangi - a waterfall where we got to take more pictures.
All in all, two thumbs up.

We're thrilled you enjoyed Bromo Sunrise tour program with OURTRIP1st, We're truly pleased that you decided to take private trip with an additional english speaking guide (Rahman) who accompanied during the trip. Even thought our jeep driver (Sukron) could arranged Bromo Sunrise trip by him self, but with additional guide I am sure you had much more than just magnificent view.
We are truly thankful for your great review. Hopefully we can meet again in other trip (Ijen or explore Malang coast line and Batu area) next time.

Is it suitable to go to mount bromo bringing a 2 year old child?

I think you can if the child is reasonably well behaved in general. The lookout area where we sat and watched the sunrise (on mountain near Bromo so you look at Mt Bromo) is an easy walk (200m or so and fairly flat) and is safe. We shared the spot with about 10 other people. It is nice to see the sunrise but i would not have been so nice if there was a screaming or naughty child. If the child was interested in nature or ate a picnic or something then they would be great to have as company.
Mount Bromo itself - you can get a horse ride for most of the way (you could both sit together on horse). You would need to go up 200 or so steps to get to the top but if you went slowly - there would be no problem. YOU WOULD NEED TO BE VERY CAREFUL AT THE TOP AS THERE IS NOTHING EXCEPT A SMALL RAIL (which was broken in some parts) TO STOP THE CHILD FALLING INTO VOLCANO! They could not run around up there by themselves as there is also a walk trail about 1m wide with no barriers that go around rim of volcano and it would be very easy to slide off that area and die! I walked out on rim to get photos but you don't need to.Most people just stayed in the paved area at the top of the steps.You can see into the crater ok from there and it is safe.
