Get a glimpse of rural life outside Malang on a biking tour that gives you the chance to meet local people. You’ll pass by rice fields, sugarcane farms, and villages, and visit an area where locals live, Plus, try some homemade Indonesian dishes to enhance this cultural experience.

One of the biggest stupas in the Singosari region. Although the location is quite far from the highway, but this place is quite easy to find. Here we can see closely the Singhasari royal heritage temple that still exists today. Next to the temple there is a lake that can be used for bathing. Outside the temple fence, several food and beverage vendors line up. #batulocalguides #letsguide

You have to go through a small road from the main road. There is a park and spring water around the candi. Lots of people take bath at the spring. The area is rather cozy and fresh. Candi Sumbeawan is a Budhist candi with a single stupa. You could feel the energy even when you just close your eyes. If you have time, it is worth to take a short meditation.

It was okay there. Good place for sightseeing but the temple itself not as big as i seen on Google. There's no information about the stupa. You have to pay 5000 for the entrance ticket.

The actual stupa itself isn't that interesting, but the area around it is quite special. Has a very serene vibe, which is hard to get for long in Malang. Small donation. Rock walkway makes it hard to walk if you have mobility issues. Parking fee. Not that much of a walk down to the actual site. Glad we went. But again, you have to be into temples ... or else I would say "don't bother".

After quite a long walk through the rice paddies, we came across this charming small temple. Not as interesting as someone the others but the suburb scenery along the way was well worth the visit.
