Wandi was a superb host for our 3 day 2 night trip to Halimun Salak National Park. His service was impeccable and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were catered too. The National park was beautiful and we had a superb view of Mount Salak and the sunrise from our bamboo hut accommodation. I cannot recommend this experience enough if you are visiting Jakarta and have a few days to spare. Visiting also contributes to local people living in the area. Please visit Halimun Salak National Park with Wandi!

I can only confirm what I read in another review: Wandi is not a guide. He is a friend you just haven’t met yet who shows you the hiddens gems of National Halimun Park and surroundings.
We walked through Bogor Botanical garden, swam under two beautiful waterfalls, hiked through the jungle to the active vulcano of the Ratu crater, visited tea plantations and walked through rice fields.
Wandi and his friends are also wonderful chefs. The food they served was excellent, we just couldn’t get enough of it.
The bamboo huts, where you sleep, were primitive but clean. And the view is stunning.
We regret that we did not book a longer tour.
We were a group of 6 (three adults and three teenagers) and booked the three days two nights tour.

We can only warmly recommend the tour with Wandi (and Andi, the best driver in the world). They take excellent care of you, show you beautiful places, prepare incredibly delicious food, talk a lot and laugh with you. Wandi is not a guide. Wandi is a friend you just haven't met yet. Even in the bamboo house you have the best mobile data (with telecomsel). We would visit Wandi again at the next opportunity. Kind regards Kathi and Anni

We have just spent a month in Indonesia and this two day tour was our absolute highlight. Wandi had so much knowledge about plants and the places we went that we would otherwise have not known. A truly wonderful experience and worth every penny. Andi was a great driver and both guys were a pleasure to be around for our trip. We went to the Botanical Gardens, went to the puppet maker, rice plantation, a beautiful waterfall, a tea plantation and to see the paragliders at Puncak Pass. The place we stayed in the mountains was absolutely beautiful and we were took many places away from tourists. The food was fab. Cannot recommend enough!

Wandi and Andi were amazing hosts who helped my husband and me to see a whole other side of Java. They were very personable, telling stories and sharing their experiences with the countryside, mountains, and the people who live and work there. The sites were incredible, especially the rainforest and volcano hike. We were comfortable and surrounded by beauty in the bamboo hut, and we were pampered like kings and queens with tea and delicious meals. We can only recommend!

We did a two day tour with Wandi and our driver Omay! It was a great experience. We saw a lot of beautiful nature: little villages, waterfalls and the best of all was the volcano. Many thanks to Wandi for all the information and the great places he took us. We felt really welcome! Sleeping in the bamboo house was amazing, so was the view. Thanks to Omay who took us all the way to Bandung. So people: don't hesitate, just book your trip!

We've done the tour with Wandi Riswandi last year (2016). After we arrived in Indonesia in Jakarta, we went to Bogor to get some rest. From Bogor we went on a tour trough Halimun National park with Wandi as our tour guide. The tour was amazing! Wandi showed us waterfalls, rice fields, the jungle, a volcano and tea plantation. We went back to nature by overnight in a bamboo house in the middle of the park and got to meet the locals of the village. This experience showed us the real beauty of Indonesia. We thank Wandi and the rest of his colleagues for the personal and well arranged tour. We recommend everyone going to Java to do this tour. The trip is all-inn. Please visit the website or call Wandi +6281383931844.

I travelled with a group of students from my school in Norway to Indonesia this winter. We had three wonderful days on the tour with Wandi and his amazing team. We got to see a lot of beautiful nature and culture. They always made sure we had everything we needed and made really good local food for us. Wandi has been very kind and helpful during both the trip and planning, and helped us even with getting an hotel in Bogor the night before the tour started. All of us were very impressed by the tour and the team, and I believe many of us would like to come back sometime. I recommend this trip for both groups and individuals, as well as families. Thank you Wandi, Aladin, and everyone else for an amazing tour!

Everything about our stay was good, from our sleeping in bamboo houses to the amazing traditional food that was prepared for us. Watching the sun set over the moments. We came to this small sanctuary in the mountains not expecting the luxury we received. The program they had prepared for us included bathing in a waterfall, trip to a volcano through the rainforest and we really felt like we got to explore the nature of Indonesia. Would definitely go back again.
