We went to visit Dusun Bambu the late arvo. We walked around the park. We seen my to a section that was blocked n asked if we could pass. The bus bag by said it would cost IR20k to pass. I said we already paid an entrance fee why should I pay to go through this area? They could not explain so we didn't go through.. Seems like a money hungry scheme to me! We had a light snack n that wasn't too bad. It was nice to visit.

Thanks for the response. Glad also if your brother and family traveled in the bamboo Hamlet for his best moments. We apologize for the lack of one and other things we will fix. Awaited his return to Dusun Bambu

going the earliest in the morning on monday. Dusun Bambu has been packed with tourists at 9 am. Reserved seats for lunch at Burangrang Cafe, as the khatulistiwa market is unbearably too crowded during midday. The picturesque lake, with tall trees and small cottages is still the same, except now they have too many donut boats.
The creeks and flowery shrubs are nice, without the hoi polloi.
Above Khatulistiwa, now the hills are full of daisies, petunias, and other flowers. Luck or chemical engineering, 100% of the flowers are blooming, makes an amazing scenery.
Camping ground is quiet, spending a night or two in the outdoor, with access to toilets, would be great.
The hot air balloon has gone, replaced with food bazaar.

Commercially successful, i hope dusun bambu can maintain the beautiful landscape and keep the water flows through the ridges.

I read some reviewers said that this place is not that good, but I really like it! It's not easy to find a man-made place that has such a natural feel like this in Bandung or around Java. I like the flowers the most, I like how they design the terrain, it was open but not too big. They have a foodcourt with nice selection of food, the taste and the price are okay, average 30-40.000 IDR for a plate of food, but really the atmosphere that make this place very nice. I spent half a day there with my toddler kid and teenage nieces and everybody loved it. I came here on saturday so it was quite crowded, but not packed. It'll be nicer to visit on weekday and have the place for ourselves.

I think so far this is one of the best place to visit in Bandung, if not the best!

We initially planned to visit this place as a photo and lunch stop before heading off to other attractions. The journey from our hotel in Braga Walk to this place took us about an hour but we got that, the guide suggested we took up the special offer to enjoy the activities in the park. For IDR110000 per pax, one gets unlimited access to activities like horse riding, angry bird slingshot, paintball shooting, archery, air gun shooting, knife throwng, All Terrain Vehicle rides etc which surprisingly we enjoyed very much. Didn’t realize we can have so much fun ! There is also a very big park with running water stream and gardens. Indeed beautiful for phototaking. For a small fee, you can visit the tree top walk and also a rabbit zoo to feed free roaming rabbits of all sizes. We opted for the food court which offers great local delights such as my favorite Nasi Liwet Ayam Goreng. We ended up spending more time than we wanted but it was well worth it. Highly recommended if you are going there with family with kids. I m sure you will have a relaxing fun time.

An extraordinary experience can be traveled in the Dusun Bambu. That's right that you enjoyed at that time called All You Can Play, with only 110,000 rupiah can play on 16 rides. I hope it will be a good impression for you and your family. We look forward to your next visit. Thank you

Dusun Bambu is a little secret outside Bandung waiting to be discovered… and better only quite soon after you quickly visit this place having read my review.

The place aims to bring back childlike wonder of rural living but with modern comforts and amenities. The initial introduction to the park is better seen when walking up through the bamboo steps, and not by the quick ride up on the colourful tram. This uphill walk goes through a healthy patch of padi field, intriguing any visitor of how much effort goes into nurturing every grain of rice to feed the millions in Asia.

Upon reaching the main square, we were greeted by a man-made but pretty landscape grounds, complete with a running brook, and a kaleidoscopic treasury of flowers, shrubs and even unusual herbs like fennel. At this centre, the kids have a choice of games, rides and activities to suit anyone 16 years and younger. Parents with kids who insist on some games like “Paint ball” and “Air Soft ball”, had better come prepared with a change of clothes.

The safety guards and clear standard operating procedures gave comfort to us parents who let the children loose on the ground, while we lazily sipped coffee and ate local cakes at the verandah overlooking the grounds. We chose to go upstairs where it was less busy. The choice of local delicacies from the Food Court below was vast and each one was aromatic and inviting. Signs to buy the Dusun dollar to spend at these stalls, need some explanation especially in English, if the Leisure Park hopes to market itself to visitors from outside Indonesia. Once you can find this counter that sells the Dusun Dolar (my term), you may take these fake money to purchase your real foods. Still, this adventure was fun and added thrill to our day.

Leaving the place was hard for our kids who could have played more games, and gotten more wet with sweat or from the splashes of the brooks. We left Dusun Bambu feeling like we have gotten back to the nature that was gently screaming out with Asian beauty and wonder. Family bonds seem restored in such a place of healing and peace. As our world seems to fall apart in the seams, Dusun Bambu seems to quietly knit us back to all things true, noble, right, lovely and praiseworthy. Well done Dusun Bambu... you have much to be thankful for and proud of.
