I am not a coffee drinker and this is the spot that turned me into a java lover.
The views are amazing and the hiking around the edge of the mountain is worth it.

Make sure to have a java at the end of your hike.

It's on the way from Bandung to on the way to Kawah Putih. We stopped for an hour to walk around and enjoy the mountain air. Very peaceful and tranquil. Travel on the weekend can be congested so during Ramadan is better. There are some very good restaurants on the way there. Also bought some very good Wallini tea from the plantation outlet/shop

The tea plantation was just awesome! For as far as your eyes may take you, the plantation spreads out across the hills like a lush green carpet. It is very picturesque & very calming. There are no entrance fees to the plantation.

However, you are discouraged from taking the tea factory tour. We can't help but felt cheated. Entrance fees was IDR125,000 per person plus a guide fee of IDR100,000 per group. After a 30 minutes tour, we were told to pay an additional IDR50,000 as security fees. It was after we have left that we realized the fees have been marked up. How shameful of them!

Nice thing to do while staying in Bandung. You can get there by local transport, which is an adventure on it's own. Go to the terminal ledeng and take the navy blue bus to subang. Ask the driver to stop at PTPN or kebun teh which means tea plantation. For 75000 you get a tour through the factory and of course a cup of tea. The restaurant is a great place to have lunch, great view and cheap prices.

The area is around 30 mins drive from Kawah Putih/White Crater hence do request your driver to stop by. The place is also known as "Rancabali Tea Plantation". My cousin and I had Chippi from diaz travelindo as our driver and he's the best.

The weather is extremely cooling with breeze blowing through. The scenery is super picturesque with its plantations grown nicely. Manoeuvring around them is relatively easy but I do recommend wearing flats. If you are lucky, you can find the locals and interact with them :)

Visited the tea plantation, factory and restaurant as part of a day trip to Tangkuban Perahu. The guided tour was a quick walk through the production facility but still very interesting. The guide spoke good English and answered all of our questions about tea production and the history of the plantation. The tour finishes in the restaurant where a cup of tea and banana fritters are served. The restaurant also provides a panoramic view of the plantation.

Fresh air and beautiful hills of tea. Great place to snap lots of photos.

It is also near a few attractions such as hot springs and civet coffee (Kopi Luwak).
