Dont miss this place when you visit Bandung. The museum is kept clean and the staff are very helpful. I was not able to find many English speaking staff, but that did not hinder me as I had a local guide with me.

It was a good choice to come to this place. I did learn new things in this museum :D The fee is really cheap (Rp. 3.000/ person) and we were given a nice map for the location. It really surprising as they build new attraction and more knowledge for us to see. They provide a 3D movie on how the... More

There's an earthquake simulator if you want the experience. The english translations aren't too consistent so you will miss some stuff, but there was an interesting video available in English. There is a tourist entrance pricing.

It's an old building but has gone through renovation on the inside. It's a compact museum but with interesting exhibits on rocks. Highlight was the earthquake simulator. My kids and I love this place. Wish we had more time there.

Pros: • Lots of minerals & fossils inside • Informative texts are up-to-date • Interesting “earthquake simulator" • Centrally located (near Gedung Sate) • Air-conditioned & clean • Very cheap entrance fee Cons: • Many interactive systems are not working • Lack of English signs and guides for foreign tourists • Can get very crowded on weekends

Fantastic museum with lots of prehistoric items like T-Rex and other ancient living fossils. Too bad no guides available. Also closed by 3 pm during their month long fasting month. No notice at all. Tickets for tourist more expensive !! Rupiah 10k.

We went to this museum because it was raining all day. Surprisingly, the museum is really good. The collection of fossil and rocks keep my kids busy for more than 2 hours. They also learn about history of earth and galaxy. I highly recommend it.
