Bank Indonesia is the central bank of Indonesia. This building is in Braga Street, Bandung city. It is an old Dutch building, or so to say a colonial Dutch heritage. This is almost one hundred years old building, which has been very well maintained by the authorities. This building is now considered as a cultural heritage building in Bandung.
You can not go inside to visit it. Only from outside you can appreciate this nice building and take photographs. The traffic squire in front of this building has a small beautiful garden.

The main reason for foreign travellers to include Bandung on their Java itineraries is to sample its broad range of architectural styles from the early twentieth century. It is best known for its art deco buildings but it is also possible to see impressive buildings from other major schools.
The Bank Indonesia building on Jalan Braga is probably the city's finest building from the neoclassical school. This building was designed by architect Edward Cuypers and constructed in 1917 for the Javache Bank (Bank of Java). It is similar in design to Jakarta's Bank Indonesia building, featuring stately Corinthian columns, classically proportioned arches and fine ironwork grills. Perched on top is a beautiful glass atrium. The building is beautifully maintained and its gleaming whiteness makes it a fine sight no matter how many times you pass through Bandung. It is now home to the city's branch of Bank Indonesia. The only problem with this sight, like many other of Bandung's finest buildings, is that there is nothing really to do there. It is closed to the public, so all you can do is stand outside the fence and admire it from afar. Nonetheless it should be included on any walking tour of this attractive area of the city.

You should to visit when weekend and told to security to get permission to enter. So, the security will guiding you to walking around building. If you want to get more information about history of building, you should to join with tour operator. It will be nice and worth it.

Built as the first Javasche Bank using concrete foundation system, this grand building is an example of the ingenuity of Dutch architects in bringing the best of west and east in architecture. Although the style might be very western in general, with pediment and doric columns, the overall appearance is, somehow, not entirely represents western architecture. Many of Javasche Bank were built with similar blueprint (find one in Cirebon, Surakarta, Yogyakarta, and Malang), but this particular building in Bandung is by far the largest and most beautiful.

I've visited the place once to meet a colleague for business purpose. It's old huge building. It's built by Dutch during colonizing Indonesia. The building was clean, fragrant, and fresh air.

As any other previous De Javasche Bank office, was designed by Dutch architect Marius Hulswit from Hulswit-Fermont, Batavia and Cuypers, the largest private architectural agency in the East Indies.
Now functioned as Bank Indonesia branc office. Planned to be a museum in medium time.

This is a well-maintained historical building in Bandung. The building itself was originally built in 1918 as De Javasche Bank during the Dutch imperial period.
And now still function as Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Wilayah VI (Central Bank of Indonesia for West Java and Banten)
Inside the building there's a museum in progress (ask the security) but that's it. Nothing more. You shouldn't make a stop just passing by is enough. There're more attractive buildings around.
