We wanted to avoid the crowds- and this tour does that. We were at Ulun Danu temple early in the morning and had the place nearly to ourselves. We even got to see an offering procession gathering and going to the temple. The only small critique was that our guide was unable to tell us much about the history of the temple, or explain a wall painting. Luckily, we had Google handy ;) After seeing the temple we had a light breakfast and headed on to the waterfall. Kember Waterfall was a LOT of steps- and again completely worth it. Aside from a couple and another family we were the only people there (and at the Blue Lagoon we were the only people). Most of us did jump off into the pool and/or do the waterslide options. By the standard of these things it is actually pretty safe, and the slide especially had people doing it more than once. The Blue Lagoon had ccccold water and was one of the single most beautiful things that I have ever seen. It was worth every step down & back up! The lunch is a buffet with plenty of good choices even for most eaters.…

NewBali was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad we used them for our excursions! We did the Nusa Penida day trip, snorkelling in Amed and Aling Aling waterfall. All three were amazing but the snorkelling stood out for us as it was like looking down at a fish tank! Our tour guides Rita and Linda were both lovely and made the day really enjoyable, Martin was also really helpful and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Overall a really good company to use with lovely staff, and it was the highlight of our holiday!…

If you were to visit the Ambengan village waterfalls, definitely go with Newbali. The group was small (3 pax), with an early start time to beat the tourist crowds (it was close to Christmas and NYE after all). There are cliffs of varying heights —3, 5, 10, 15 meters, the local guides will jump first to demonstrate and provide pointers. The waterfalls were gorgeous, with the wonderfully clear, clean and refreshing water. I’ve never felt so clean and cool after a swim! Our guide Willy, the local guide and our driver were super fun and took great care of the group.…

I really enjoy myself in this trip, and I'm sure you will do it too! As Martin (the owner) says, it's very well organized and you don't need to worry about anything, one you are in their hands. In this excursion you will have time to enjoy to different places for snorkeling, one of those the famous sank boat in Amed. And for finish, after the exercise... You will enjoy a very nice meal on the beach! What more can you ask for? Thank you very much Imanuel and, of course, thank you Martin!…

Was an excellent tour. Very nice to see the lake temple and really enjoyed the packed breakfast. Highlight of the trip however was the forest and waterfall tour. Our guide Hani had such an amazing knowledge of the plants and fruits in the forest which she shared. I absolutely loved the opportunity to jump off all the waterfalls (8m, 10m and 15m heights) as well as the natural water fall slide. Capped it off with lunch and an amazing view from the restaurant. Local guides at the waterfalls were also excellent and did all the jumps first. Only critic would be that of the driving. Was a bit reckless even by Bali standards.…
