Nicky Walsh After 7 months of being in a city, living high up in the sky, as opposed to close to the land, and eating the same kind of food day after day, my whole system was out of balance. I knew I needed some additional support and guidance and AmrtaSiddhi, close to where I live, was the right place to go for that. Dr Sujatha's diagnosis, prescribed medicine, diet and treatment programme, along with the skill and nurturing of the therapists, in my case Agung, who was amazing, the care of the kitchen staff and the attention to detail of the entire team, have made all the difference. After 5 days my entire system has come back into balance and my agni -fire- is well and truly restored. If you are out of balance, have health issues or simply feel the need for a rest, then I highly recommend a consultation with Dr Sujatha or her colleague Dr Remil and following their recommendations. AmrtaSiddhi is the perfect place to get yourself back into balance. If you are in Indonesia at the moment, then it really is a great time to take some time to care for yourself with the support of the Ayurvedic team. And if you are not in Indonesia, but reading this review, plan ahead and make it happen as soon as you can. You will be so grateful that you did.

Before I start my review, let me tell you what all I suffered from, the list is a bit long. I suffered from Degenerative disc disease lower back, dehydrated discs, pinched nerve in the neck, Cellulitis and psoriasis. And I found this place purely by Google and read the reviews and decided to give it a go, I was done taking steroids and pain killers and the effects were showing on the body, as in sluggishness in my body, tiredness, sleep apnea, extremely loud snoring, acid reflux. And to add fuel to the fire my unhealthy lifestyle aggravated the situation. The Facility Well spread out and ample nature for you, the downside being you will see a lot of frogs, lizards in all sizes, bats flying at low altitudes and mosquitoes in abundance deciding on how to feast on you every evening. The center does give you some natural spray to keep them away but nature’s fury is what it is. The library does provide you a good reading and one of the only two places where the WIFI is available the other being the lobby, the WIFI is pretty fast and stable. The reason you will not find much entertainment is because they want you to spend time with others on the property and yourself, which helps in your healing, believe it or not it does help. The Accommodation Very clean and well kept, spacious and well ventilated. They provide good air conditioning and ceiling fan, its highly advised to minimize the use of air conditioning while you undergo your treatment, the doctor will explain in detail. There are a few varieties of rooms you can choose from. Depends on what you looking for. The Food The food can be really amazing if you’re open minded, they have cooking classes once a week which I really looked forward to. But depending on your treatment the doctor designs a diet specially for you, there are days you will have to bite your lip and manage, but believe me its all in your best interest. The Team Headed by Dr. Sujata, she is really good at what she does and she has in-depth knowledge of Ayurveda, she has a brief consultation with you on day 1 and schedules your treatment and followed by Dr. Remil, who checks on your progress regularly, they both together form a good team. Dr. Sujata gets updates from you regularly and changes your program as and when needed depending on your progress. The have a great team of therapist, who note even the smallest detail of your sleep and other things on a daily basis, making sure your treatment is the best and nothing is left out. The kitchen staff know that you are going through some major changes so they make your food as accommodating as possible. The reception staff are very helpful and are responsible for coordinating with the doctor, therapist and kitchen for all your needs. The yoga teacher Budi & Yoga and the meditation teacher Lily do deserve a special mention for getting someone like me to practice yoga and meditation, Thank you so much.

I have been consulting Dr Sujatha for the last five years. She has changed my life. Being an older woman with a young son played havoc with my hormones. I had gained a lot of weight which under her supervision I lost and then subsequently managed my seamless menopause transition through ayurvedic medicine. After a stressful year, with a number of dental issues and antibiotic courses I needed some help. Dr Sujatha encouraged me to do a week rejuvenation program at AmrtaSiddhi. I have done many 3 day juice fasts at home but being at the centre was another level of experience. Juice fasting with quiet time away from family life with daily massages, additional cleansing herbs, timely fresh and plentiful changing juices, ginger tea, daily freshly made face masks as well as the Shirodhara treatments changed the whole experience. I never could have imagined how much medicated oil could affect me. As a meditator the slow drip on the forehead of the Shirodhara treatment for seven days has been profound. Then the four day Pizhychil full body dripping and massage of medicated oil took the nurturing/healing to another level. This of course is also due to the care and kindness of the specially trained staff who have all done programs at the centre. Dr Sujatha and Dr Remil are both fully qualified Ayurvedic doctors from Kerala in India. I was also able to deep dive into some emotional waters with Dr Sujatha with the aid of Marma treatment. The food is so fresh and clean and while I at times had to eat lightly, I never felt hungry. Budi's excellent Yoga instruction made corrections to my asanas were soooo helpful. The Ayurvedic talks and cooking classes by Dr Remil were such a support for future lifestyle choices. The care, kindness and enthusiasm for the programs by the informed Balinese staff also really made the whole experience. Thank you AS At the end of my seven days I feel completely transformed and rejuvenated! So after this crazy year and if you are in Indonesia and have dreamed to do a retreat /cleanse like this but have not known how or it has been out of your reach financially or you have some ongoing health or emotional issues please contact Amrtasiddhi and inquire. Just do it!

I traveled to Bali in early 2019 to help me cope with a medical condition caused by being on a medication too long, - namely topical steroid treatment for long term eczema. I also have ulcerative colitis. I was very unwell at the time, going through a process called Topical Steroid Withdrawal, (TSW) and the care given to me by Dr Sunjatha, Dr Ramil, and the entire AmrtaSiddhi team was incredible. I always felt supported and that I was in the best environment to heal. I spent one month there and after returning to Australia and continuing my recovery over the next 12 months, I am now completely recovered and have no return of severe eczema or colitis. I attribute at least some of my speedy recovery to the deep detox I went through as people can languish in TSW for years, - I was able to return to work and being a father/husband within a few months of being home. I highly recommend visiting the team at AmrtaSiddhi if you are experiencing TSW, or any other long-term health issue where ' traditional' means of recovery have failed you. Can't wait t go back when we can travel again!

I was recommended to AmrtaSiddhi, and Dr. Sujatha Kekada specifically. At the time I had almost no knowledge or understanding about Ayurveda. I worked with Dr. Sujatha regularly for a few months, I did theta healing every couple of weeks or so. I have been extremely happy with her, and the results have been amazing. It definitely have had a big impact, a great catalyst in the process of making positive change, and bringing myself to balance. I think he last I’ve worked with several therapist and life coaches, but I’ve never came across anyone who have had the ability to truly meet me at my level like Dr. Sujatha was able to. And from there able to support, guide, help identify limiting beliefs and teach me some heavy lessons about myself, but in a very compassionate way. Highly recommended!
