We did this walk as a part of our tour around Ubud with my husband and 2 young kids. It is definitely worth it. Such a beautiful part of Bali.

Nice walk away from the busy-ness of the main streets. It can get hot so do it early or late afternoon or when it is cloudy.

Pretty easy walk, not sure if we did all of it but completely worth the views. You can wear sandals, no need for covered footwear. Bring bug repellent.

Not worth visiting if the climate is hot & humid. Good for pictures & greenery everywhere ! Go there in the Morning !

I lost count of how many different types of butterfly I saw. There are some pretty gnarly steps up and down, but it was a very manageable walk. Even for me, with a recently-broken leg and a few extra kilos.

A good activity to get out of the bustle of downtown Ubud....great views....if you keep walking till it turns into a road, there are lots of shops juice bars....you can walk all the way to rice terraces....but it gets busy and commercial towards the end.

Campuhan is a relaxing stroll with beautiful views away from the chaos of Ubud city... walk beyond the end of the ridge into the villages to see the true Bali...
