I thoroughly enjoyed my day spent at Widya's Batik studio. Everyone is lovely and willing to help you as much or as little as needed. Lunch was great too. All in all, a wonderful day's activity!

My husband and I enjoyed our day learning about and making batiks. Widya and his staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We each made a fairly large-scale batik; the process took about five hours. Highly recommend.

Ours was about 1 metre x 1/2 metre (very rough estimate) see pics of finished pieces on frames for drying.

Yes, you can learn the art of Batik painting :) The artists from Widya’s will guide and teach you. Batik class starts at 10am, and normally ends at 3pm. Fee is 450K rupiah (~32 USD) per person.
