This place may not look like much from the outside, as it's tucked off a busy street, but what awaits you inside is magical. I signed up for a four-hour package online, including a full-body Oriental Wellness massage, hair cream bath, manicure, pedicure, body scrub, mini-facial, flower bath, etc., plus complimentary pickup and drop-off. Needless to say, it was an extravagant amount of stuff for an exceedingly low price (around $50 USD). You'd never find this kind of value in the States.

Three separate women worked on me and they were all excellent—sweet as can be, beautiful smiles, gentle when they should be gentle, and firm when they should be firm. The manicure and pedicure were meticulous—better than anything I've received in NYC. (My only suggestion here might be to bring your own polish if you have a special color in mind, as the selection is small.) The body scrub and yogurt wrap smelled so delicious I considered eating them when the masseuse wasn't looking. The flower bath is, of course, a luxuriously ridiculous thing to do—but c'mon, it's Bali. Treat yo'self.

Re: the reviewers who've commented on the spa's size and interior—no, this isn't some five-star megaspa attached to a hotel with all those uppity trappings. This is a small, locally owned place, maybe more humble than you're used to, but it's thoughtfully decorated, well-kept, clean (I didn't even spy any ants—and ants are everywhere in Bali!), and quiet enough to relax.

An A+++ experience all around. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Really like this place. Clean and serene with friendly staff. I had the oriental massage and herbal facial. The massage was divine and I fell asleep during the facial. It was so relaxing. Very good value too. I recommend it.

I came here as a treat for my last day in the city. Also, because my flight was quite late in the day, I needed somewhere to shower off and relax before heading to the airport. I booked the Purification Body Scrub one day before and there wasn't an issue securing a spot. The girl at the front desk was very nice and even let me borrow her phone to confirm my airport driver. The spa is very conveniently located and easy to find. The massage rooms had tables for two so you could do a couples massage here. The scrub, massage and other treatments were very relaxing and the masseuse always made sure I felt comfortable in terms of pressure and temperature. My treatment was supposed to last 2 hours but unknowingly, I was there for over 2.5 hours and nobody rushed me out. I was just enjoying the flower bath too much. However, the only complaint I would have is that the rooms have open tops and I could hear the other guests talking or getting up and this woke me up. Other than that, it was a perfect way to end my trip and I would definitely come back and the spa treatments are definitely worth the price.

I enjoyed two treatments at Ubud Wellness Spa -- the Oriental Total Wellness massage - a combination of Balinese, Lomi Lomi and deep tissue techniques - and the Oriental Total Royal package. Both, as it turned out, in the capable hands of kind Komang. This spa is highly recommended for its expert services at incredible prices.

Stayed in a nearby Airbnb, and checked it out. Tranquil, clean spa with friendly professional staff.
The best spa experience while we were in Bali. Returned three times!

Set back from the main road, with only one modest sign with the logo directing you, already the first approach is peaceful. The staff will greet you with genuine smiles and offer you tea while you choose your treatment. No pretentiousness to be found.
The Japanese-like garden and koi stream lead to the treatment rooms. The rooms (and the whole establishment) are very clean, simple yet classy. They "live "window is open to the garden in a beautiful and private way. There are bath tub and shower in the rooms. The pedicure room is ever so relaxing and the shadow puppets keep you company during this fantastic treatment.
The staff are professionals and they really know what they are doing.
I managed to visit this special place three days in a row: body massage, body scrub, pedicure, and the best neck/shoulder work .

Ubud... too much of a good thing becomes ... just too much. Even finding a spa can be stressful with so many, in every category. So, if you have had it with the solicitors, with the too rustic, with the too fancy but no character, the too this or the too that.... then Ubud Wellness Spa is for you.

Came here on my first day in ubud and got the Balinese traditional massage for one hour and paid 150,000IDR. My masseuse’s name is Mitha and she was very sweet. She did an amazing job, she wasn’t too rough on me which is what I prefer, she was just perfect and appreciated her asking me if I was okay. You’re welcome to take a bath in there as well but I chose not to since it was getting late. They also give you a homemade watermelon shake at the end. Definitely recommend this place.
