We were really blown away by this performance. The show is in three parts, the first tells a classic older story of a princess who is kidnapped and the story of her saving. The second was an amazing synchronised performance of two young girls who...More

Not to be missed. This may not be an ancient dance, but it has become a must see in the Balinese culture. Arriving just before sunset, this sets the scene for a great performance you are sure to enjoy.

The setting is lovely. They passed out papers that described what was going to happen since the language they were singing in is related to Sanskrit and, naturally, we didn't understand it. I read the paper but still had a little trouble following the story....More

It may vary from place to place.. I went on a Thursday near the Ubud palace temple and it was a Thursday and the dance starts at 7pm. You can get the tickets from outside just be there before 30 mins or so for a good seat.
