The Dance performance is based on a part of the great Indian Epic Ramayana. If you do not know about it read the pamphlet with the background before to get some idea of what is to come but the dance will not be very inspiring....More

If you want to see the Kecak dance or fire dance in Ubud don’t go to the professional ones. The locals here do it in their temple twice a week Sunday and Thursday nights with all proceeds going to the temple. No recorded music just...More

Ok, so I gave it a shot with high hopes of something somewhat entertaining. Honestly we all got so tired sitting there. It was crazy kecak chanting and that was it for about the first ten minutes. Then it didn’t get better. Heaps of people...More

What should have been an enjoyable performance was absolutely ruined by idiots taking lousy flash photos. Unless you're interested in seeing how inconsiderate ypur fellow humans can be its not worth seeing until flash photography is banned.

The dance tells the story of king Rama, it’s well performed and a must see if you are there. The show starts at 6 but the ticket sales starts at 5 and costs 100k each ticket

The show is amazing and very entrancing. Rings of men chant in a trance as the story unfolds in front of you. All of the dancers and actors are people in the local community who are served by this temple. The admission fee goes to...More

I was so excited to see the Kecak Fire and Dance at the Uluwatu temple. The organisers crammed as many people as they could into the amphitheatre and it totally ruined my family's experience there. I could barely see the show as the audience were...More

Amazing show. Really gives you a taste of Balinese culture. The entire show was just over an hour and tells a story. Really enjoyed the experience!

When we bought our tickets to this event, I was thinking Hawaiian style luau with hula dancing and fire spinning. That is not what you're getting! It also doesn't carry an outrageous price tag like most Hawaiian shows charge. Your entry fee of 80k RPY...More

No dinner option. Plenty of restaurants nearby for before or after the show.
