Saunas in Ubud? (3 Replies)
Hi All, Can anyone recommend me a good steam sauna in Ubud? I found online that there's one at Taksu Spa, although it seems a little pricey. I'm open to all suggestions. Thank you.

Open to suggestions? Good :) Bali is very hot and very humid. You can pretty much get a steam sauna on the street! But coming from Korea, as you do, I understand the question. Love Korea by the way. I think my answer would be to try some of the treatments they have more commonly in Bali. There is a big range, but steam sauna is not in so much demand in a tropical climate!

HNR Report - 10 days in Ubud (6 Replies)
Solo traveller mid 50s from UK, planning on spending 8 weeks in Bali Friday - difficult as it was to tear myself away from Nusa Penida, it as time to move on. Caught the fast boat from the jetty to Sanur - oh luxury no wading for me! Although at Sanur it was jump, wade again. I'd booked a car with my next accomodation White Lotus Meditation and Yoga - a place I,d found on the Internet. Driver Gede was anxiously walking around with a sign - apparently the mooring spots for the boats are...More

Continued Soldering. 400k including the silver. Toro Sushi again for dinner. Thursday Decided to brave Ubud market which up until then I'd avoided, I like to shop but with 5 weeks to go don't want to carry lots of things around from place to place. It's busy, sometimes a bit pongy from the fruit and veg which have been around since 4.30am. Had a great time chatting to stall holders and bought a couple of small things to take back. My 'london clothes' are too hot for bali, so a couple...More

JBR: short AO trip to Ubud. (4 Replies)
Hi all, Short trip to Ubud in Bali over the long weekend here in W.A. Stayed 4 nights at Amori Villa, 'bout 10min drive out of Ubud. Flew Jetstar ex Perth and returned with Air Asia, flights all good, on time etc. A word of warning though, if you have a driver waiting for you at the new airport, just hope that he's not parked in the multi story car park. Once our driver collected us, he said wait here, i get car, well 25min + and he finally arrived, i believe it's kaos, in only a...More
