I was very exciting to learn traditional Balinese food. It was a big group, helping each other cooking. A good asmosphere, humorous staffs and delicious food. And we had a copy of recipe which we can follow at home. Thank you for the present and good memory. Definitely a place to recommend!!!

Our group was greeted with a fresh lemon squash and given a tour of Wayans family home complete with cultural information. The cooking class is well organised, the staff helpful and friendly and the food fantastic. Puspah and her team make it so much fun and have great communication skills. An evening of fun and fab food. Not to be... More

I was quite reluctant to engage in a cooking class - being domestically challenged in most arenas and having some food allergies (chilli). I was concerned I would be a 'downer' on the whole party- as the cooking class was a part of a tour. I had no reason to be concerned this was the best cooking adventure I have... More

This was an inspiring afternoon. We were looked after so tenderly and beautifully. We learned to make many dishes from the beginning. Lots of humour and a depth of knowledge imparted. This woman has a passion for cooking

Puspa and Wayan from Paon Bali Cooking School, welcomed us into their home and compound to give us an authentic experience of Balinese life in the village, and their delicious traditional cooking. The setting was truly magnificent, immaculately clean and set up for a fabulous cooking experience and feast. I've done this class every time I've visited Bali and always... More

First of all, Auntie Puspa or Mommy Puspa, as I called her later in the night, was such an interesting and lively character. She really made the whole experience an enjoyable one. Each step of the process was beautifully explained and we actually learned the different traditional Thai styles of cooking. Mommy Puspa was even considerate enough to add a... More

Wayan, a driver pick-us up at our hotel in the morning. He drove us to the market visit, then to the cooking class. We were very well welcomed and then had a wonderfull cooking class. Balinese cooking is tasty and easy. The lunch we prepared all together was excellent. Thanks for all

My boyfriend and I attended the evening cooking class at Paon Bali. We were picked up very punctually by their driver and the venue is actually not very far away at all. Maybe only a 15 minute drive from Monkey Forest Street. We were warmly greeted by Wayan and Puspa and had a lovely refreshing lime welcome drink before being... More
