As an older couple we did not take advantage of the various swings and other photo ops available for the younger tourist. Our driver and guide took us on a very gentle walk and explained the irrigation etc. A truly stunning spot and the best...More

Hard to believe that this was created by human hands. If you like challenging up and down stairs hiking, this place is for you. If you have bad knees, back, etc this is NOT the place for you. However, if you can handle it, the...More

There are some places that you HAVE to stop and see when traveling. Any number of the rice terraces on Bali would fall in that category for having the combination of beauty and cultural impact. And Tegalalang definitely falls in this category. It is beautiful,...More

Our guide actually took us there not from the main entrance, but from the side and it was an impressive view. There were no tourists and the landscape is mesmerising:))

Many of the reviews we've read describe Tegalalang as too comercialised and it is to a point. Our friend and Tour Guide, Nyoman, from Saburo Vacation Online took us to a quiet cafe/resto (Dewi Café) overlooking the rice fields and we were the only people...More

Very good photo opportunities, too commercialised for our liking. Modest entry fee, however after walking a short distance had to pay again to enter a different owners rice fields. We completed a short circular walk and left after approx. 45mins

Too commercial and shops galore. Takes away from the experience...stayed 20 mins and left. You can miss this and spend your time with better options.

Absolutely amazing to see the rice terraces so beautiful too. Lots of photo opportunities some you have to pay small donation but well worth it & to experience some of the culture.
