My daughter has been going to Sari Api for years....she absolutely loves it! It's a great place to go and let your creative juices flow! The only problem for tourists traveling here, is that it takes time for your pieces to get fired in the kiln. Perfect for families visiting for a longer stay or people who live here!! Ibu... More

I surprised my girlfriend and booked us a half day class which was very intimate as it was only the two of us and our teacher Agus. We had a very enjoyable day and found it very educational and with a bit of guidance we made some nice ceramics. Our items were packed very well in bubble wrapped and shipped... More

The place was a bit messy but it is to be expected from a ceramic studio. The staff was quite helpful and patient. We did make a reservation for two well before we came, so everything was seamless. Agus promised to deliver our artworks and he was true to his word. It will take sometime for him to finish the... More

we attended the Saturday morning session for kids which my son loved. we understand it was a particularly busy day so I guess that explains why it felt a little disorganised. suzan was fantastic and although the assistants tried to help their english was very limited compared to most in central ubud. we didnt realise it would take 3 weeks... dear Prophet family, Thank you for your review, and while we always appreciate feedback, I would like to answer you in this case: When you contacted me via email, you just asked if your son could come to the saturday class and I answered that, yes, it was a drop-in class. Had you asked for information, you would have received... More

My mom and I took a class at Sari Api around New Years and it was such an amazing experience. We learned different techniques of making ceramics, all of which were fun and informative. We had a free hand at making our own designs and chose colors but since we weren't in Bali anymore when the ceramics were ready (takes... More

She does very creative pieces with very high quality. I am not sure how competitive the prices are, but believe you pay a nominal premium for orignality

My teenage daughter and I recently spent a wonderful afternoon at Sari Api Ceramic Studio near Ubud with ceramic artist Suzan. I had never used a potters wheel before and my daughter had only used one once. Suzan was warm and welcoming and a patient teacher generous with her time. The studio is as you would hope, it features everything... More

I booked a half day workshop with Sari Api and loved it. Suzan is a great teacher and her studio is a lovely place to spend the morning, learning how to make cups and bowls. We did one piece by hand and a couple on the wheel and got to pick glazes for our creations. If you're looking for something... More
