We travelled as a group of 10. We had seen the Hidden Canyon on the internet when searching for tour options. We booked Buffalo Tours to take us on a private tour, and ensured that the last stop would be the Hidden Canyon. As our tour guide had not been to Hidden Canyon, we chipped in to ensure that he joined us. The tour started off well as we waded through the knee deep water. Thinking that we would have to climb a few rocks, I was not expecting to scale the rock face. We are mostly in our 50's and not overly flexible, so as the tour progressed, i found it quite difficult. The Canyon guides were very helpful, and were determined not to leave anyone behind. As the rock climbing became more difficult, I opted to swim in the canyon against the strong current. But the guides were there every step of the way. We only completed the first canyon (1.5 hours). There are another 2. We haven't stopped talking about it, but is definately suited to the fitter person. Please note that there are no harnesses and no helmets.
