We had Komo as a guide and had such a fun time. He is funny, fun and very informative. We always felt safe and would highly recommend this experience when visiting Bali. Just a tip, the stairs down to the river is very steep but definitely worth it.

Booked rafting adv thru Klook, my third raft but first time with this company and i could say its a pleasant experience. From the check in to the lovker made available at the place itself, changing room and car transfer to the start area made easy. Ofcourse we had to climb down to the boats. A little tough for my first timers children we had with us but they were troopers! Especially when they hear the sounds of waterfall, it made them soooo excited!
We are a group of 8 so we split two families to two boats along with 2 other pairs in each boat. The two captains leading us that day made our day even enjoyable. Thank u but we forgot their name after back from holiday but ofcourse wont forget their faces.
A little advice to those with knee injury, this may not be an option for u cos the climbing up n down the steps to n fro the rafting adventure may not be for u. But this is suitable for beginners and children aged at least 8. Its fun i tell u, do try it if u hav no knee issue!
Food are provided after you completed the raft. Shower n change. The food catered are yummy! Hence why i see some coming back for second servings 🤭
Check out my pictures and make that booking on your next trip to Bali!
Thank u RedPaddle! See u next trip

Great value, lovely people, incredible view, right amount adventure and chill. Had a lovely stop midway for Bintang/fresh coconut. Photo ops along the way. Highly recommend.

I appreciate envy is a deadly sin, however it was hard not to notice that every other raft on the river had a fun loving, energetic, entertaining guide. Not ours. He was joyless. Ours barked two words repeatedly during our 2 hour decent. Stop! And Forward! Both relating to paddling. That was about it. It’s the luck of the draw for a trip like this and we drew the short straw. Unfortunately.
I’ll also note that 600 stairs down to the river and 200 stairs up (and the design of these stairs wouldn’t be found in any building code) isn’t for anyone remotely unfit nor suffering from knee, ankle or hip complaints. It’s was tough going.
There were many brands on the river, Red Paddle seemed a little worn compared to the rest. Their signature red helmets and paddles were faded, the boats dirty and cars were unmarked compared with other companies smart corporate liveries.
That said, once on the river it’s magnificent. It’s not dangerous as we feared and many of the rafts contained young children. It’s well worth the experience, just maybe not with this mob.

The team at Red Paddle picked up my young family of six from our cruise ship. The experience from start to finish was fantastic. Very well priced for what you get. 2 hours of white water rafting. Nothing too scary. The kids screamed/laughed over the first few sections but by the end we were all just laughing and flicking water at other rafts.
Lunch was provided and was adequate and very tasty. The driver waited the entire time and delivered us back to our ship while offering to take us sightseeing for no extra if we liked.
Note: the steps down and up to the water is no joke. It’s long and needs a reasonable level of fitness to complete.
We will be back for sure. Thank you guys so much. This was our favourite activity of our 2 week cruise.

A great experience!! Our guide Medhi did an excellent job explaining instructions and he was FUN! The river is gorgeous. Lots of steps up and down to access the river but well worth the climb! Definitely recommend!

Our family of 5, includes 3 of our boys 12,10 and 7. The driver pickup from hotel was on time and comfortable ride throughout. The boatman took time to explain before the rafting and he was especially careful with our 7yr old. In fact my son had a special seat right in front of the boatman so that he can watch out for my boy. Very energetic guide with added info for us along the journey. Good rafting experience for family with kids. Highly recommended.

We booked through Eco Bali Tours and the tour was provided by Red Paddle. Eco Bali must just be an agent but we are so glad we ended up with Red Paddle because the day was amazing.
Our guide Kadek was quality throughout the day and really looked after us. We have done tubing before, in Vang Vieng Laos, but let me tell you, this is completely different. In Laos we lazily floated down a river stopping at bars for drinks. However the river Ayung is set up for white water rafting, so when you are floating down the same river in what is essentially a rubber dinghy, it is a different story! The rapids were great fun and Kadek did his utmost to make sure we were safe, despite capsizing twice and getting bashed about by the rocks.
If you are looking for an adrenaline filled morning, look no further than tubing with Red Paddle! Thanks for looking after us Kadek.

This was incredible!! The rafting was super fun, the scenery was gorgeous, and the Ramayana carvings on the cliff walls blew me away. The free pick-up and drop-off at my hotel was punctual and seamless. The lunch was delicious and had plenty of vegetarian options. And the walk up the hill was not nearly as steep as the walk down, thankfully. :)
The only downside to the experience was how much cigarette smoke there was during the mid-river break; it was hard to get away from (I ended up wading upstream a ways). But that's not the fault of the rafting company; it was staff and rafters from several companies all smoking. I just hope they are conscientious about making sure cigarette butts don't end up in the river.
So that's something to be aware of with rafting, but otherwise, this experience is highly recommended, and this company for sure!!

This was one of the most dangerous trips I ever made with my family, unsuitable for kids at all!!my kids ages are 6,8,12 we almost died yesterday, the boat flipped on a rock, and all of us were sliding down bumping on the rocks.. we were lucky that we are alive. Our guide didn’t explain for us in details what to expect. And didn’t brief us with a video instruction. Please don’t do this with kids!
