I had nearly suffered from pneumothorax a few years ago and it felt the same - deflated lung and trying to take a full breath in is impossible. After just one session at BBB and 24hours later, I am able to breath fully again. As skeptical as I was, I am glad I made it and wholeheartedly recommend booking yourself here if you suffer from any respiratory condition be it asthma, allergies, ENT issues, toxic environment - you name it. Do yourself , lungs and heart a favour.

I booked a 45 minute session and slipped into my blue foot covers, got cosied up with a blanket in the room (as it is cold to keep the moisture off of the salt), very professionally taken through what to expect from the salt machine blowing salt out every few minutes - how to breath and retain the goodness from the salt.

I did fall asleep 3 times while keeping in mind the breathing exercises the staff told me to go through. The place is absolutely serene, very gentle (almost binaural) music in the background, the lights were dim and falling asleep made sense.

My session ended with the lights turned back on. I paid and have to stress how the staff are incredibly professional, groomed and very hospitable. They are wonderful.

I gave myself 24hours to write this review so I can judge properly....and now I can FINALLY TAKE A PROPER DEEP LONG INHALE!

So give it a shot and see how amazing you feel afterwards. This place is a gem in Ubud's busy traffic scene - it should almost be mandatory living here in Bali. Thank you so much for bringing life to life BBB!

I found this place to help a sick friend. I certainly did that. The girls at the desk are well informed and are more than happy to educate you with what the salt room does for the body and mind. They went over and above for me to make space so I could facilitate a breathwork for my friend in one of the rooms and when we were done they spent a lot of time listening and educating him on how they could help. I'm very grateful!!! I highly recommend the treatment and this business. It's a little hard to find coming from Ubud side. The driveway is right aside the money changer, the property is behind it.

After several days in the smog and grit of Bangkok, my lungs and skin were feeling pretty beat-up. I had heard about Bali Better Breathing (BBB) from a local yoga studio owner who highly recommended it for what was ailing me. Sure glad she recommended BBB.

Spent a pleasant and relaxing hour and left feeling better than new!

An intersting experience and nice way to spend an hour.

I brought my wife and small child into the room and after a few days my child's coughing had gone and the sessions cleared our heads to enjoy Bali at it's best. The relaxing atmosphere starts at the reception area, great bunch of girls. The facilities are remarkable, air-con, clean, modern, heading towards health and healing and the staff consists of professionals. keep going...I will definitely visit again!!!

Hey yoga visitors, locals and healthy friends! I just uncovered this magical place, not too far from Arma museum (before you head out of Ubud direction Nyuh Kuning) same side as Arma museum and before the gas station at the junction.

Its a salt room GREAT for those of us with skin issues, suffering from prickly heat, too much dry and or humidity, and/or for those of trying to stop smoking. Best to read info on their website for full information and why to.

45 minute sessions, advanced booking not necessary. Can buy a la carte or in blocks for a more reasonable rate. Good salt air, great for clean breathing. Very relaxed SUPER CLEAN and COMFORTABLE room (there are two) where you can sit, breath, meditate, relax do just about anything but stress. Comfortable lounging chairs, a quiet and comfy break from the real world that lasts 45 minutes and starts on the hour and every half hour. Did I say super clean?

If you go, bring a warm sweatshirt...no worries if you forget, they provide blankets and even cosy pillows. You will also be provided with little slippers so you dont walk in the salt and bonnets. There are lockers free of charge and a (clean) bathroom and water on site. Its air conditioned and oh so relaxing!

No phone/stress/commotion for 45 minutes....bliss. Remember its a quiet room if you go. Let everyone enjoy in the calm. Go there, its something thats definately worth a try and not something we all have at home.

After completing a few rounds of chemotherapy I headed to Bali to attend my sons wedding and visited the salt rooms while in Ubud. Anyone who has had chemotherapy knows the effects it has on your skin leaving large scaly patches and discoloured blotches, for myself this was predominantly on my hands, arms and face. I did two sessions and noticed a difference, after completing 6 sessions my skin was completely clear and I could feel my lung capacity had greatly improved also. The rooms are very relaxing and I would often fall asleep during the 45 minute session. The staff are so accomodating and make you feel very comfortable. Would recommend anyone travelling to Ubud to come and try for themselves.

Full disclosure: at the invitation of the owner, I was allowed to meditate in this space at no cost, and I don't have any breathing or skin ailments. But better breathing is immediately apparent as you enter the salt chamber. It feels like you're effortlessly drinking in air!

I don't think of myself as someone who has trouble breathing, but the ease at which oxygen flows into your lungs here makes you aware of just how lousy the air quality is everywhere else you're breathing, which is to say, everywhere!

The management was really excited to discuss the process and the benefits of salt treatment. I definitely want to return!

The most highly recommended thing to do when first arriving to Bali, get your self to UBUD and get into the Salt Rooms...feeling sooo pleased by the relaxing atmosphere, clean and tidy, the friendly staff as well as the professional services from Rita and Sherrie, that assisted me over the past few days. A must do when in Bali!!
