Not being much of a cyclist, I wasn't thrilled to be going this tour. It was as promised mostly down hill and there was always someone to help you up, if you failed to make it up one of the few hills. We stopped at some interesting places, including a traditional home compound. The trek after the ride was unexpected... More

My Wife, 3.5 year old son and myself had our bike ride tour recently - We were promptly picked up from our hotel, as arranged, and were pleased to see a large group of 9 people, of varying ages and nationalities in our group. When booking the tour, we were conscious of the fact that this tour was "Kid friendly",... More

So the bike ride was the highlight of my trip to Bali. I wouldn't have expected that, but it was so wonderful to be outside on a gorgeous morning, cycling through villages and rice fields, all downhill for the most part, quiet and shady and truly special. (The last five minutes or so is uphill and grueling in the heat... More

We decided to do a bike ride during our trip to Bali. What a great fun day we had. We had a large group of 8, with varying fitness, aged from 10 to a lot older than that!! All were catered for. Our ride was interesting, informative and entertaining. A few hills here and there but mostly level asphalt paths/roads.... More

We had a fantastic experience with Banyan Tree Cycling Tours. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to the starting point near Ubud. Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides took us through small villages and rice paddies that most visitors would never visit. The riding was at a casual pace with frequent stops along the way allowing us... More

We did the challenge cycle ride and it was great fun. The scenery was amazing as we cycled alongside the rice fields and through the local villages. i would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a slightly off the beaten track insight to Bali.

My husband and I included both a cycling and white water rafting tour on our honeymoon in Ubud, and loved it! We went for the normal cycling (not challenging), and it was a good call. The bike tour guides change the route depending on the level of the cyclists, and we were given a mix of challenging and easy routes... More

See the real Bali, experience rice fields, forests, small villages and temples. Gede was an excellent guide, explaining all we could absorb about Balinese culture, religion and family structure. The best lunch in Bali so far, authentic home cooking by the owners wife. Great day out with our children (7 & 4).
