We had a fabulous day out doing Chef Mudana Cooking Class. From getting picked up and taken to the Markets to see our food being purchased to then coming back and learning so much. The menu was great and my 11 year old daughter was eager to get in and participate as well. Chef Mudana and his crew explained everything to us along the way and then we all sat down to eat the incredible menu we created. Highly recommend.

It was a wonderful experience. Everyone in the group was able to do different kinds of tasks, so everyone felt like they accomplished something. The crew was very professional and kind. The end result was so tasty. 2 hours is quite short to learn something, but this way you'll learn a lot about the ingredients of the Balinese kitchen!

We thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class and the food was superb. Chef Mudana and staff made it so much fun. The setting in the open air kitchen was perfect. Highly recommend and would do it again. Excellent value and we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

This class was so much fun. A great hands on cooking and learning about Balinese food and culture. Chef Mudana, Made and BeBe were the best! Communication from them was perfect and the restaurant was a truly local experience. We got to cook and eat and take some home! Fantastic experience! Great value and an event you won't forget. This was a great cooking class! The trip to the fish market to pick out a fish to cook at the beginning of the day was really fun (we ended up with a delicious, fresh mahi mahi). Then we went to Chef Mudana’s cooking classroom adjacent to his restaurant. We learned a great deal about Indonesian cooking, the essential ingredients, and what you can substitute if you don’t have those ingredients. Chef Mudana asked us if there were any particular dishes we were interested in that we weren’t making in the class and we mentioned two, which were added on the fly to the cooking lesson. I would definitely go back for an advanced lesson.

Chef Mundana and his assistant chef, Dede were absolutely the best. We learned so much and felt welcomed like family. This is truly a special experience and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to learn from both these great chefs. Food was delicious!!!!! Would not have too much of the fantastic breakfast though because you’re gonna have to eat all the amazing food you cook! Market visit definitely worth it.

We recently did Chef Mudanas Indonesian dishes cooking school and it was fantastic. We have done cooking classes all over the world but Chef Mudanas enthusiasm and his teams knowledge and passion for the ingredients and dishes made this one of the best we have done. The Chefs anecdotes about his time Cooking in places like Japan and Australia help to bring context to how to build flavour with multiple ingredients. It’s not just about adding more chilli to make food spicier. There was 6 of us on the class but the amount of ingredients and tastings meant by the time we sat down to eat it was a veritable repast. Highly recommended

Mudana’s cooking class was great. I went to the morning one, including a visit to the locals market, traditional Balinese breakfast, and hands on cooked lunch. Everything was very well organised. Mudana, Made and Dede explained everything and you can tell that they love what they are doing. It was so much fun. If I go back to Sanur, I would definitely do another cooking class with them. Thanks guys, I had a great day!

Chef Mudana, Made, Wayun, Dede - you all are the best! This experience was as awesome as it was intimate. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to Chef's Wurang SMS which was incredibly beautiful. There are dogs, a cat, and koi in addition to his amazing outdoor kitchen. The team welcomed us all very warmly, introduced the menu of what we would be cooking, then we started preparations. Everyone gets a chance to prepare one of the dishes after that. My partner is a vegetarian so prior to booking, I reached out to Chef Mudana who got back to me very quickly and let me know that he could alter everything to be vegetarian - that was awesome and appreciated. All told, I loved experiencing Balinese culture through the food we made and the stories / anecdotes the team shared. We had so much fun, the food was awesome, and Dede even went out of his way to get us a couple of Bintangs for the meal - pretty rad! I would recommend this to ANYONE, even folks who don't really consider themselves culinary. I certainly don't but I had an amazing time!

My husband and I loved this cooking class. We booked 7 courses meal and food was amazing. Best Meals is that one you are cooking and sharing with beautiful people. Everyone at Chef Mudana are so lovely and the cooking space is amazing. Definitely a wonderful experience to learn more about Balinese culture.
