We booked Augusto for airport transfers, blue lagoon snorkelling and Ubud-Tanah lot tour.
Augusto and his company were extremely professional, excellent rates. Augusto is very knowledgeable and informed us about everything during our tours, we learnt a lot about the local culture and found it very interesting. He offered to take us to other places too and we could pretty much design our day as he was willing to be so flexible. He is a very friendly guy and we had a great laugh with him. Would definitely not use any other driver on the island!!

We had Agusto pick us up at the airport On time ready to go.
Great mini van to Sanur beach The Fairmont very comfortable drive good a/c. Our family of 4 booked 2 day tours with Agusto.
Temple tour and up country UBud tour. Both tours were fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about his homelands and we wanted to know all we could. As 2 people in our family don't speak English, they both enjoyed everything.
If your looking for a great guide here in Bali Agusto will not let you down.
He was very helpful with my parents in law with the hikes and getting in and out of the Mini Van. Also a fantastic lunch at his friends restaurant. Awesome view.
We will use him next time for sure.

We visited Bali for our honeymoon, and based on the reviews here we decided to book a tour with Agusto Tours. We ended up enjoying the day so much that we booked another one!
I think the first tour we went on was the old 'Bali One' tour that's no longer on the website. We visited Tanah Lot temple, a fish market and then Uluwatu temple and kecak dance. Our driver was Wishnu, who was brilliant. He translated at ticket booths for us and let us know exactly what to do. He also helped us pick a restaurant for lunch, and we ended up having a brilliant meal on the beach by the fish market (I can't remember the name of the restaurant but I think Wishnu said it translated to fillet). I won't review the places we visited in this review as I'll do individual reviews for each place, but I will say that we had a brilliant day and thoroughly enjoyed everything.
The second tour we went on was the Top Tour. This took in the Batik weaving, a Barong dance, Batuan temple, the monkey forest, the rice terraces, and Tegenungan waterfall. We also popped into a silversmithing place on the way to the Batik weaving as we had some time to kill and Wishnu thought we'd enjoy it (he was right!). He'd rearranged the order of the day so that the drive home would be a bit shorter too, which we appreciated. Again, we had an excellent day. Wishnu came with us into the temple and explained what everything was, and took some lovely photos of us.
I can't recommend these tours enough, they were a great way to see bits of the island that were too far to taxi (we stayed in Sanur) and having a local explain what's happening and give context makes the trip so much more rewarding.

We had two days of touring with Augusto. His knowledge of Bali is exceptional and he is more than happy to share this in his likeable and friendly manner.
He is an excellent driver very patient and alert. For those who haven’t been to Bali and see how they drive or ride their scooters this is essential !
Augusto is very flexible and will take you to almost anywhere even if not part of your originally booked tour.
And the air conditioned car is a blessing.

We spend 1 month on Bali and I must say that Agusto is the best driver in Bali. We were on 5 different tours which we planned together with Agusto because he knows how long time the drive is. You cannot trust the Google maps due to a lot of queue. We planned the trips over mail or whatsapp, super easy! He is flexible, has a good sense of humor, can tell a lot about Bali and what to be careful about. He is a family man how works hard to satisfy his customers and ensures that they have a unique trip to beautiful Bali.
There are many guides in Bali and I can really recommend Agusto because he is passionate and fun to be with. We traveled with our 1 year old son and Agusto was always ready with a car seat and helped us making baby-friendly trips around Bali.
Be sure to book directly with Agusto and his team on his website or via whatsapp. That way, you get a better price and more of the money goes to hard working Agusto instead of, for example, Viator who gets a big percentage of the money.
Enjoy Bali!

I found Augsto's tours on Tripadvisor and loved the idea of having someone locally take me around to some spots, without dealing with the larger groups. It was just me, as a solo traveler. I emailed Augusto on a Monday and within 1 hour I was set for pick up at my Seminyak hotel 8AM the next day.
First, his price is very fair. The hotel was going to charge me 250K/hour for a driver, which is a bit steep for an all day affair vs. Agusto. Keep up the great work, Agusto, your pricing is excellent.
Next, Agusto was knowledgeable about all the places I need to visit. He knew I was solo and when I might need assistance or just be dropped off to check out things by myself. Lots of freedom.
Finally, his vehicle was just fine, he was a great driver, and his English is excellent. Great man and guide.

We booked first only one snorkeling tour but it was good and our driver Made was so kind, honest and good guide at we book later two tours more. We requested snorkeling tour in Amed (lipah beach) and it was amazing. It was rainy day but really worth it. I hope at I can see next year Lipah beach also in your website cause I think it is better as Blue lagoon. I really recomend make tours in Amed.
Third tour was in Ubud area. There was quite new butterfly park what was very nice. We also visit in Monkey forest and market area.
I really can't imagine better guide as Made. Our kids love him and he was social, kind and really make our holiday even better.

There seemed to be an abundance of people offering trips in Bali, however Agusto's excellent website and TA reviews made me organise our tour in advance rather than wait until we were at the resort. My emails were answered promptly and arrangements made with a minimum of fuss.
The first tour we went on, our driver Madi was waiting for us bright and early and we had a long (10hrs) and enjoyable day out for 6500 rupia exactly as quoted. That's around £37 in sterling!! The car was a Toyota SUV type vehicle with fantastic air con, comfortable and big enough for 4. More importantly it didn't make my wife feel travel sick like other cars do!
All of the attractions we visited were well worth seeing but at the same time busy with other tourists and locals desperate to sell you anything and everything! I decided to challenge Madi and booked another day later in the week with no itinerary or plan other than to avoid other tourists and see the real Bali away from the obvious. Well done Madi, I've no idea where we went other than up in to the hills, we visited beautiful rice terraces, fruit groves, remote villages with spectacular temples and properties, we happened across a traditional balinese wedding taking place and a village cock fight (not planned we just drove past it) and as a photographer I manged to take some wonderful images. Madi was a lovely gent, a good considerate driver with impeccable manners and great company, his english is excellent and I hope to use him again in the future.

I am keen on Agusto Bali tours. I plan to stay for 3 days in Sanur with my son who is 14 years old.
We are keen to do nature walks, sight seeing like sunrise, sunset, flea market/night market shopping. I like to have some experience in the rice plantations and some cultural exposure if possible. Can suggest a package tour for me and my son?

Agusto took our family to various Ubud area attractions on Christmas day. He made himself available on short notice, was responsive, punctual and courteous. Agusto speaks English well (remarkably told us that he is self-taught...) and shared interesting tidbits of information about Balinese history, culture and present day customs. He was great with our young kids and we also appreciate that he always drove safely. Would recommend him without reservation!
