Did a day to Nusa Peninda with Mario and gang. My group had an array of special needs. My Wife is an experienced Freediver and she was five months pregnant. I also had a friend who had a fear of water and of being submerged. Mario and his crew managed to look after each and every one of us and our unique needs. We had a great snorkelling experience and I even managed to get in some Spearfishing for myself as well. The BBQ at the beach was idyllic and the food wonderfully prepared with a lavish spread of Balinese style vegetables, the fish we caught and fruits. Looking forward to coming back.

Did a three day adventure with Mario. It was a real adventure of the highest order. Totally enjoyed myself. Mario made the experience safe, enjoyable and truly unique. All equipment provided including boxed lunch. Even the food was wonderful with fruits galore! He also provides a comfortable ratio of guides to guests. This is a specialty tourism experience so be sure your freediving skills are at a comfort level in order to enjoy it fully.

Mario was an incredible host, really friendly and supplied all the gear. He had 4 guides for our group of 5 people, which was really reassuring as I had never been spearfishing before. The location was beautiful and we were lucky to be able to swim with manta-rays and a pod of dolphins too. We tried 4 different areas to spearfish at, seeing different types of fishies at each spot. Lunch and water was supplied, and Mario catered for everyone's individual needs. Tips for future trips: - Unfortunately I got very sea sick, so worthwhile taking anti-nausea medication before the trip, or maybe we could have had lunch on a beach. - Put on lots of sun screen!

Had a great time spearfishing out at Nusa Penida. Speared for reef fish, GTs and Dogtooth. Mario was great with his advice and was a super fun guy. Speared some really great spots and had an awesome time.

Absolutely Perfect! This is a my third trip with Mario and in typical Mario fashion - he never fails to surprise and exceeded all our expectations. Mario is more than just the captain of the ship - he is a great friend, full of jokes, stories and always having a solution for any problem! Mario literally knows everyone in bali! I came with a group of 4 other friends, of which 1 who has never swam in the open sea before, 2 of which have never spearfished before. We did 1 day at Nusa Penida and 3 days at the Gili islands which was still not enough! Mario and his crew were great hosts, making us feel at home and looking out for all of us. Mario made sure to ensure that there were enough guides in the water when we were spearfishing such that we were all safe and tailored the spearfishing spots to our abilities. He has spots that range from shall to very deep. Everyone managed to spear fish! Gear available on hand was top-notch. All we had to do was bring our swimsuits and sunblock - mask/fins/wetsuit/spearguns/floats were all provided and in great condition. Food was amazing - Mario brought us to secret local hangouts and he knows where the best foods are. On top of that he is at least a 2 star Michelin Chef - nothing beats fresh sashimi on the boat, and wait till you try out the fish he grills! Accomodation on Gili Air was at Ombok Paradise - a beautiful island hotel, perfect for a great night's rest after a hard day of spear fishing. Thank you so much Mario, Eng, Mang, Putu, Ahmad for making this trip a trip of a lifetime. Will be back again soon my friends!
